After spending the last two weeks trying to scrape (non-asbestos) 1990s Artex off our hallway walls by hand, we cracked & decided a power tool was in order, as we still have the rest of the house to go and only one lifetime each. We spent a fair bit of time researching and in the end it came down to weight, a smallish lady of certain age and a 20-something daughter being the workforce. It arrived swiftly, in a well-designed & sturdy case, with decent instructions, and we had no trouble working out how to connect it all up. Bought a connector to fit to our existing Henry hoover - not sure we've got that quite right, it didn't come with any instructions & fell out twice, but basically did the job - and oh boy! What a difference it made. We did in twenty minutes as much as we did in the whole of yesterday by hand. The noise is bearable, the vibration minimal and there was virtually no mess at all. Highly recommended! Am now eyeing up the dingy old floorboards...

Not too heavy and does a very good job

Great machine, I never used one before and I’m blown away by it. Delivery was on time. Machine comes in a good strong plastic box. Very well made. Easy to assemble and straight forward to use. All replacement parts are available if needed. I attached a Henry vacuum to it and had virtually no dust and not too noisy. Great value for money. 👍

This sander worked perfectly for the first 2 or 3 uses and gave a good finish. However, it quickly developed a mechanical fault and started shaking violently, making it unusable. It’s a shame because the design is good, but the durability is lacking. I am returning the unit.

Now, where do I start, as a handiman, have been using the old tried and tested method of rubbing down walls and ceilings with a pole and pad, but as I'm getting on with age, finally decided to invest in a machine, and I'm so glad I did, easier, cleaner and so much quicker, super machine, price and quality, spot on, bought extra grade of pads also, highly recommended.

Unfortunately this unit has a tiny motor which just isn't powerful enough to make this 230mm sander any good. I know being a ceiling sander you would need it fairly lightweight but at the same time what's the point of a sander that's too underpowered to sand? Also the velcro backing pad has an odd configuration of the dust extraction holes and is not the standard hole layout for a 230mm pad. So unless you buy the overpriced discs off Amazon you end up with a sander that is too weak to sand and a dust extraction facility that can't collect the dust.

Rly good stuff. solid carry case, Drywall sander itself is a good quality, light, price is amazing when compare to others with same size etc. + carry case + durability. Had a lot experience with other brands, Einhell is best to me definitely. Ofc please do not compare with Festool ;) Recommended 100%

The dust collection is very good, over all it does they job, but i does not get very close to edges and corners
