Easy to use instant new flooring

Bought this to repair some brand new Lino that had gotten torn when replacing the dishwasher after laying.Did a really good job, can’t see the tear if you didn’t know it was there. I had to point it out to my son as he couldn’t see where the tear had been.It’s an adhesive paste that you have to mix with paint to get the correct colour match, ( it comes with a colour guide to help you do this).I’d advise doing this during the day in natural light as I did it at night under a strip light & the match looked perfect under the artificial light but looked a slightly off the next morning, but not enough so it is obvious.It also comes with swabs of different textures (to match your Lino) that you use to seal the mixture after you have made your repair.It also comes with a metal tool that you heat up & iron over the swap so that the repair seals with the same texture as your Lino. Which is great attention to detail.I found heating the metal tool & placing it on the swab a faff & very time consuming as I was having to keep reheating it. So I put grease proof paper over the swab & used an iron instead which was much easier, quicker & did a much better job .However I had to use a tea towel to protect the surrounding Lino from the iron.There is a YouTube tutorial to watch but it didn’t make much sense as it seamed to be for a carpet repair.I found one on YouTube for a different company which was much clearer.The overall repair looks really good, I can see it but I know it’s there & like I said the colour match isn't perfect but that was my own fault for not doing it in natural light.So far I am the only one that notices it.It has a smooth finish that matches my Lino which makes it almost invisible, thankfully my dog hasn’t even noticed it.I have washed the floor daily since repairing & it hasn’t leaked or worn away.All in all I am very happy with the results, It is a good quality adhesive, it has repaired & sealed the Lino & is good value for money as it has saved me a fortune not having to replace the Lino.As I’ve only used a small amount & can reuse itfor any other accidents…God forbid!I’d have given 5 stars if the instructions had been clearer.

Does just what it says

All I received was 2 pots of adhesive, no colours, no texture paper, bears no resemblance to product advertised and a complete waste of money, 1 star is too many, total rip off for the price and total misrepresentation

WORSE THAN USELESS. Insufficient hardener supplied in tiny, tiny, pots;- consequently the repair NEVER HARDENED properly. Left with a sticky patch!- worse than having a tear in the vinyl. An expensive mistake buying this. Would give MINUS 5 stars if it were possible
