Designed for a rail, but can be used without.
I needed a hook for my strimmer, and this fits great. A 3/4" packing piece substitutes for the rail.

Good to hang bikes

Have had our bikes just sitting on wheels on the back deck for so long and finally got around to storing them properly using these hooks. Don't know why I sat on this for so long, but what a treat. Space saver and feels organised. I installed them directly onto the outside of my house against weatherboard panels without the rail and works perfectly fine. Very sturdy and just simple.
