Works perfectly with UDM Pro - In the LAN port
I bought one of these to link my Ubiquiti UDM Pro to a USW-16-POE Gen2 switch mounted directly above it. I fixed the speed of the SFP ports on both devices to 1Gbps (not sure if this was actually necessary) and plugged in this DAC cable. Works perfectly and saves an RJ45 port on both devices for the link.Flushed with the success of this, I bought a second DAC cable to link the UDM Pro WAN2 port to the other SFP port on the same switch, with the port at that end configured to be on a VLAN carrying my secondary ISP connection. Unfortunately this didn't go so well - The USW recognised the DAC but the UDM just showed the SFP as 'unidentified'. Swapping the cables round proved that the new cable was fine and the issue is with the UDM...In summary, a well priced assembly that performs well for its intended purpose.

Good cable, misleading size
Cable is good quality and works well but the size is misleading (in my opinion). I bought a 25cm cable expecting the cable section itself to be 25cm but it's actually 25cm tip-to-tip including the connectors. The cable section is really short, which actually works out nicely for me but might not for you!

Works perfectly with Ubiquiti products
Created an entire Ubiquiti rack and bought some of their 10GbE DAC cables, however Ubiquiti only have 0.5m length cables. My USW-Pro-24-PoE switch has its 10GbE ports at the front whilst my UNVR has its 10GbE ports at the back, tis meant that Ubiquiti's own cables cannot and will not reach.Got this instead as its longer, and it works flawlessly, Unifi software did not need setting changed or adapted to it. It worked straight off the bat. Its all you want in a cable really. It has been used for the past 4 months now between my Switch and UNVR with 6 cameras sending their live feed through it.

Worked perfectly
I was a bit suspicious as it seemed too cheap.. but worked perfectly without any hassle. Will definitely by buying more of these.

Works perfectly when connecting a USW-8 to a USG-4 Pro
I discovered that with port reassignment it was possible to send LAN over SFP on a UniFi USG Pro-4. Seeing as I’d be connecting the USG to a UniFi 8 Port POE switch I figured this would be a great way to save on a precious POE port.I got a little lost on what to look for in terms of compatibility and link speed so just took a gamble on this unit.Pleased to report I’ve got 1000FDX communication between the USG and the Switch on auto negotiation and have done for a month now with no issues.

Perfect for Unifi Dream Machine Pro
Stacking a UDM Pro and another Unifi switch? This is the perfect length for a 1U connection where you don't need to go left or right too far. I have my UDM stacked on top of a USW-Aggregation, it connects at 10G with no drama.
