Nice material and ventilation
Preface: This was my first PC build as a PC player for 10+ years. I usually stuck with gaming laptops or gpu upgrades for office pre-builts. I wanted a case that had a structurally sturdy build while still having an old-school vibe aesthetically and also seemed easy to build in. I also did not want a side window panel (I care more for performance than aesthetics, but this toaster case is nice to look at). Thus I came upon this case. (This was built during the PC building drought, I also have a 1080tiFE that I don't have hands on at the moment, but will be placing this to replace the 1650 Super that is in place at the moment). Temperature's were ran during approx. 2hrs of COD MW 2019 (high-medium settings @ 1080p) gametime.Components used+details/comments:Motherboard - MSI MATX B360M MortarPSU - Corsair CX-M 650W (Full ATX PSU)CPU - Intel i5 9600k, temps just below or at 65 degress not OCGPU - PNY GTX 1650 single fan, temps below 65 degress not OC (my tiny 40mm exhaust fan worked wonders by keeping temps below 65 degrees, will be replaced with a 1080ti FE in the future, will update on temps)Memory - I did not use the hard drive cage that came with the case as I wanted full airflow blown onto the components. On the pictures shown I have 1 DVD drive 5.25in on the top drive bay and added a 5.25 to 3.5 HDD bay converter to add a 3.5in HDD. On the side of it I added a 3.5 SSD mounting bracket with 2 2.5in SSD's. I also have 2 M.2 NVME slots on the MOBO used for memory (will vary on your MOBO).I used several Noctua fans to replace the ones that came with the caseCPU fan used was the Noctua NH-L12S (with a ATX PSU this gave just enough room for airflow while on high-clearance mode, I'd say just below an inch of headroom)x1 92mm Fan for the front of the casex2 60mm Fans at the back of the casex1 40mm Fan at the back of the case. The case manual states that the spot where I put my 40mm fan can fit a 60mm fan, although depending on the thickness of the fan it can come in the way of your GPU, so I went with a smaller fan to exhaust some of the heat coming from the GPU.Overall impressions:Once all the research was done for the parts to assemble the PC, assembly was a breeze for the most part. There are two parts that come apart from the whole case; 1. The portion where the CD drive bay and HDD bay are located, 2. The entire MOBO tray. I am not a cable management wizard by any means, but managing cables in this case isn't too difficult (luckily there aren't any window panels to judge your cable management lol). Can fit full size components (PSU and CPU cooler may vary). Using more premium fans gave me good temperatures overall so consider investing in some fans (hence the noise level 5 star rating). Overall, I expect to get years of use of this case (5 star on the quality of the material and sturdiness) and I hope for it to last because I may have difficulties finding one as nice as this one.

Solid modular case for HTPC
Pros:Mostly steel case with the expectation of the plastic faceModular case for motherboard, 2x drive cages. Supports full atx power supply and gpu!(?)Up to 3 3.5” and two 5.25” drivesCons:Tight working spacePlastic front faceCheap molex fans includedSharp metals edges in the insideGpu size limitationOlder ports (FireWire, USB 2.0)Lengthy (>15”, might not fit in most tv stands )Obnoxious blue power light!Summary:I throughly enjoy the handsome boxy look of this PC case. Nothing is sexier than a mostly all black steel box. My main PC is your typical lian li o11 glass box, flaunting its internals for everyone to see. However, you will need to handle it with care and takes up a considerable amount of space. But somehow leaving more to the imagination in a tight little black box gets me a little more excited. Especially when you can pack a lot into it and hide it, like a dirty little secret. My needs for a secondary PC, to use a a stream server for Plex, ripping/burning cd/dvds, hosting network drives and docker containers. This thermalquake case checked all the boxes. I utilized an old pc bought from goodwill for $25. An intel core 2 dual, with a lightscribe dvd drive and dedicated sound card was a good starting point for a HTPC. I picked up a 1070ti for cheap, upgraded the ddr2 ram to its limited (8GB), and gave it a nice core 2 quad (q9650) and this beast is now a beauty. I plan on utilizing multiple dvd drives and every 3.5” hard space possible. I currently have 2 3.5” hhd, 1 2.5” ssd, and one 5.25” dvd drive stuff into this case, and I plan on stuffing every inch possible! I did have to make a few minor modifications to the top cage drive. A cheap pair of aviation shears (tin snips) and some trimming on the over size 5.25 drive bay can make plenty of space for activities. More specifically, my 1070ti which is a little big for this case. The bottom drive cage also get in the way a bit but you can just shift this a over to accommodate. You will put together and take apart this case many times like a puzzle, but once you figure it out, making changes is a breeze. For instance, if I wanted to get inside and make changes, the top drive cage must come out first, then the gpu, then I’ll need to disconnect any cables attached to the motherboard in order to remove it. That’s not including the power supply. Thank god I have a modular power supply, because if I don’t, then that will need to come out as well. This case was obviously instead for older systems, it would be nice if they were updated this to include more modern components, like the bloody molex fans. I might find a use for the FireWire port for older technology compatibility. But overall, I really like this case, and even with its shortcomings, still has plenty of potential even in the year 2024. If you need traditional 5.25” and 3.3” drives, this should be a consideration for your next build.

Quality control
PSU would not power up if the 8 pin connectors were attached to the GPU. Replacement unit functioned as expected.
