PWR CORE 20 20V Brushless 7-1/4 " Circular Saw Kit

I bought a cordless for it's mobility and light weight. This saw fills the bill for both. It is made mostly of metal and has a lot of extra features I'm still figuring out. Has a light on the cutting line and dosen't stall even on large wood. Fine saw. Highly recommend.

Overall, I’m very happy with the saw. It has a great price works great has an excellent warranty. Overall, I would recommend the saw for light duty cutting. The cuts are smooth. It does have the power to cut through thinner wood the best.

I hope that this saw was as good as my relatively new Skil monster framing XP saw. And boy, I am very pleased. It's the other brother XP saw lineup with a 7 1/4 blade. It is smaller but built like a tank. I charged the 4Ah battery and found wood to cut to ensure its power. WOW, that is what I have to say! It ran through everything I threw at it like butter. I just ordered the Skil track system because it is the only Skil saw that can use the OEM Skil track. Not to say you can't order after-market track. But if you stick with OEM, you're assured that everything will work in a symbiotic harmony. I am impressed with Skil's new life with way better tools in the cordless world. I have used 77 worm drive saws throughout the years and still use them. But these new XP saws are what I needed to be more nimble, without worrying about if I have enough cord or tripping over the core in high spots. I'll never give up on my 77 at any cost; you can't bet the run time.

I was skeptical after having a previous brand name cordless saw with an 18v ni-cad battery. But this one has exceeded my expectations with its 4aH li-ion battery. Has more than enough power to slice through 2X lumber without lugging down. Can’t comment on the battery lasting power but would expect it to be much better than previous generation of batteries.

This saw really surprised me with its power. Cut through thick plywood like a hot knife through butter! Cut through treated 2x8 boards with no problem as well and the battery lasted my entire reflooring project. Great saw for the money!
