I have always wanted to try Red Hearts super saver yarn ever since watching youtube videos for knitting and crochet. This was my first one and I love it!! It is Worsted weight, number 4 yarn which for us British is similar to an Aran weight yarn and knits up perfectly to Aran patterns. The first thing I made was a hat for myself and one for my daughter and they turned out gorgeous, they are lovely and warm also soft too. The colours in this print are lovely and the photo does not do it justice. It knits up beautifully and is nice to knit with. I have heard from other reviewers that it is a rather rough yarn best suited for blankets and such but I find it quite soft. I also understand that if it is washed and tumble dried it gets even softer but looses its shape over time so I shall see how my hats fair, I will keep you posted. A lovely yarn in a nice big ball (144g, 5oz ball) slightly smaller than the plain colours as they are 7oz balls but in 2 balls I had enough to make 2 bobble hats 3 pompoms (one went wrong so had to remake it) and a pair of gloves. Have ordered more to make a scarf.

Love this yarn and especially this particular colour mix. Red heart yarn is obviously more expensive but I like using it. The super saver skeins are worth the spend as there is so much yarn to work up. I've Crocheted a beer cozy, beanie hat and now I'm working on a blanket. The colour blend is lovely and I'd say suitable for more male oriented projects.

Lovely aran feel yarn and colours, just didn't realise these are older designs from Red Heart which these colours can be used for planned pooling methods (complicated) I kept the yarn and finally made sense of these short frequency of colours changes. Great to use but time consuming and not for beginners if want to make good user of yarn colour changes instead of random effect. I ended up using mix of 5, 5.5 & 6mm hooks to achieve result.

I thought I'd try this bright yarn and to be honest I tried four different scarf patterns before I found out e that looked right with the yarn, I found there's no pattern to the colour changes which was annoying at first but once I found the right pattern I was away, I brought two skeins and I was 3 stitches from finishing but luckily I ended with black so was able to join another one on, it looks awesome, my friend loves it, definitely recommend.

Lovely yarn to crochet with. Beautiful blue and excellent value for money. I went up a couple of hook sizes to get the drape I wanted.

This is a brilliant yarn and it does look exactly like camouflage when it's crocheted or knitted up, which is brilliant. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because I feel that it is a very stiff yarn, it worked up well, although it is not very soft, but it was perfect for what I needed it for, which was making military styles Dementia/Alzheimer mats

Beautiful yarn that's easy to crochet with. A good weight that works well on its own but can still be doubled up. I ordered multiple colours and colours are true to the pictures. Delivery from US to UK service is great and receive within a week. Kept informed of delivery. Will order again from this supplier. G

Red Heart yarn is a favorite of mine. I use a lot of it for crocheting and plastic canvas projects. The colors are bright and don't fade, washes like a charm, and lasts for years. This American colored yarn is perfect for making items in our flag's colors. I can always recommend Red Heart yarn.

Bought this yarn intending to do a planned pooling crochet project - but it does not pool. The colors are way too long before repeating. However - it was perfect for this mosaic crochet tote project. I used a regular grey RHSS for the background of the waves of this blue colorway.

Wished could've gotten 3 for 20 though
