This is just a novelty gimmick really, it works, it's not the most accurate measuring device, but it'll do the job, (you aren't doing precision engineering), even if it lets you down, you can always straighten up in post.It covers your hot shoe, and it is a spirit level, it's cheap, it's not bad. I'm not unhappy with it. It's a nice little fun, techy add-on for your camera.I mainly bought it because I needed to jack up the cost of my basket so I could get free delivery, but it is cool.Fits good.

These really are great but I do find that they drop out after a while - however, could you ever get one that didn't.They certainly do the job and last for a short season - worth it to protect the hot shoe

Hello.....these little things are great. I didn't really buy them for the level bubble aspect (i will try it out though) but mainly for the protection they offer on my camera hot shoe. I tend to 'throw' my camera around abit and have it hanging by my side so these offer some protection to the metal contacts from dust/water.Another positive is that they are rubberised and not plasticky so they will absorb some impacts and there is plenty of friction when sliding them into place so theres a nice tight fit and no wobble. Definitely pleased with these...Bye

This hot shoe cover does a simple job well, and at lower cost than alternatives as you get 2 of them in the packet. Cost is important because in my experience hot shoe covers tend to get lost quickly and need replacing often. Be aware that the product is slightly bulkier than alternatives due to the built-in level gauge but for me this was not a problem. Gauge isn't really necessary but could be useful if levelling the camera on a tripod.

Does a good job but are very easy to lose.

Easy to fit and remove, provides a quick way of setting camera square.
