Comfortable and effective
These are good for reducing loud music but still allowing conversation with friends.Keyring container is nice and compact, just be careful ear plugs from it as it's fiddly and easy to drop.Comfortable to wear for long periods too. Happy with the purchase.

really happy with these, wore them last night for 3 hours :-)
I just used these properly last night at an outdoor party in Cannes, France. The atmosphere was great, but I found it way too loud. The EarDial iPhone app was super easy to use and suggested that I'd get 12 mins of safe sound exposure where I was standing (in the loudest part of the venue), or 2 hours with ear plugs in. So I popped in the earplugs, and also moved somewhere slightly quieter after 20 mins, so I could talk with my friends. After I left, there were no side-effects for me — no discomfort, and no ringing in the ears. The EarDials were comfortable to wear for 3 hours. Pretty much invisible to anyone else. I could still hear the music, and easily make out conversation. At the end of the night, it was also easy to get them out of my ears, and put them back in their case.I particularly like having the metal case on my keyring. It's small, and doesn't look too weird. And actually having an option of ear protection when I want it feels really good.Fit wise, my ear canals are probably slightly smaller than average, because I can use Apple AirPods, but they're a tight fit and slightly uncomfortable.

Best sounding and looking ear plugs I've used
Really good customer service, one of my ear plugs arrived with a hole in it and a brand new pair were sent no questions asked. The actual product is brilliant at what it does, probably the best ear plug I've used sound wise. Sometimes it feels like the ear plug isn't even in the sound is so clear. The main reason I bought these were for the look - I'm a singer in a band who needs ear protection but didn't want unsightly plugs sticking out of my ears at gigs. I also wanted a handy pair of plugs when I go to other gigs that are right there on my key chain as I have forgotten to take ear plugs a couple of times previously. The only mark down I have with this product is that when you take it out and put it back in (breaks from rehearsing for instance), they will slip out quite easily due to sweat etc. I'm sure if I took a towel with me to rehearsal and made sure my ear canal was completely dry when I put them in, this wouldn't happen, but I don't have to do that extra work with longer ear plugs as the weight distribution and size keeps them in place.

These work. Simples.
These are very good. They virtually eliminate wind noise, although some road noise gets through so you can still hear sirens etc. They fit in a way that is not obtrusive and don't get pulled out the moment you put your helmet on and your ear canals distort slightly as it goes over them. They don't itch like the foam ones and they don't make my ears bleed after prolongued use like the foam ones. This was a good investment and they checked up afterwards to make sure everything was OK.Everything has a minor niggle, so in the interests of fairness, I will stick them here. The case is a little fiddly to get them in, but at the same time it is tiny and discreet (and sits on your keyring, hooray!).The pull tab is only JUST long enough.A different set of filters and self changing ability would really add to these. If you drop one on the ground, they are translucent silicon, so it will be the devil to find it. Coloured filters would help. All in all, it's a yes from me. And I don't even have to remember which trousers, rainsuit, leather jacket, tankbag, rucksack or panniers I left them in.

Comfortable, portable and effective.
I love my Eardial earplugs. This is the second set I have owned, having bought into the original kickstarter and only recently lost one.The best thing about these earplugs, is the I (very almost) always have them to hand. So when I go to a gig / show / festival / children's pantomime rehearsal (frequently at short notice) it's fantastic to have them on my keyring and to hand.Importantly they're effective too, at reducing post gig tinnitus. On the (rare) occasion when I don't have my, Eardial with me at a concert I've really noticed (and suffered the consequence). Moreover, they're great at cutting the level of background chatter. They're (relatively) comfortable although they can be a little fiddly to get right initially, they sit well in my ears for hours and the new, smaller storage cannister is a definite design improvement. The companion App, is perhaps a little superfluous and buggy. It alway crashes after a couple of uses. And while interesting It feels more like a gimmick than a necessity. Finally though Jesús Carrera (the EarDial Founder) offers an unparalleled level of support and customer service. Thank you for my splendid earplugs.

Disappointed
Found these comfortable at first but also small and flimsy and difficult to then get out of my ears. Also disappointed that they are made in China. There are loads of different ear plugs available and one of the reasons I chose these was because they appeared to actually be German.

Discrete ear protection
I've used EarDial a few times now and found them to be very good - I started using them after experiencing discomfort at a gig being near the speakers and they definitely make a significant difference. They're small so very discrete but this does mean can be a little tricky to fit correctly at first but much easier with a little practice. Great little carry case is very handy too and means that I'l actually have them with me when I need them!
