Perfect Clean 2-in-1 Scalp Scrub & Clarifying Shampoo

Wife's review - Having some recent hair loss, fine hair but full. Hard water with a softener treatment system new to us. Spoke to stylist during recent cut and she used "scalp cleansing" shampoo. Gently massage into scalp & through all your hair. Felt great but heavy on condition side made it flat. They also didn't sell the product at her salon - commercial beauty supply. Checked here and looked close over a few products. Saw this after reading all prior products scrolling. Bingo! I have fine hair. Stylist said only use scalp cleansing shampoo with exfoliant 1 time a week. When I initially opened it smells so good. Light floral not sweet overload heavy scent. She instructed small dab about size of nickel to start. It was actually all I needed due to the water softener & suds up well. Worked through scalp & all through my hair. The sugar exfoliating pieces are slightly larger than the product she used ( fine ground) but these exfoliating sugar pieces do a great job. Using styling products the soft water wasn't getting all the root lift, hair spray out of scalp or hair. I was amazed it was shiny the first use. Truly works great. Keeps scalp and hair clean,fresh feeling & free from product buildup and frees follicles being clogged from occasionally using multiple hair products keeping skin cells from washing away ( yucky) . This "scalp cleansing" shampoo truly works wonders. Love using it and just letting it air dry. Feels great. Shiny. One time a week. Life saver. Even 2-3 days after using it when regular shampoo, styling products, hair dryer & set spray my scalp feels great and my hair stays shiny. Buy it.

I started using this scalp scrub because regular shampoo never fully removed buildup, and I could feel my hair getting weighed down. This product made a difference on the first use. The texture is gentle but effective, and the micro exfoliating beads melt in easily without feeling scratchy. It creates a soft lather that reaches the scalp instead of just sitting in the hair, which is something most scrubs fail at. The cooling sensation is one of my favorite parts. It leaves your scalp feeling fresh, almost like you just stepped out of a salon. After rinsing, my hair feels lighter, cleaner, and more lifted at the roots. I noticed less oil by day two which never happens for me. The scent is clean and spa-like without being overwhelming. What stands out: • Removes product buildup without stripping natural oils. • Leaves the scalp calm and soothed. • Adds volume at the roots. • Rinses out easily with no residue left behind. If your hair feels flat or your scalp gets oily or itchy from product buildup, this scrub is absolutely worth adding to your routine. It has become a weekly must for me.

This is a must have for people who use hair products and/or have eczema or plaque psoriasis. Even better if you combine it with a silicone shampoo scrubber. Smells great, works like a dream, and suds up well. Honestly, I was on the train for a long time of “if it’s not all natural and didn’t get a good score on Yuka, I’m not buying it.” But honestly, a lot of all natural products are snake oil. Just junk that’s more expensive and doesn’t work that well. Some are good (Highland Hair Co comes to mind) but you’re absolutely paying for it. This is a great, affordable, effective product.

So I have diagnosed MDD, which means that during depressive episodes that last weeks to months, taking care of my hair becomes difficult. I have wavy curly hair, and my scale often becomes oily and gets a bit of build up. Ive tried clarifying shampoos before but I felt like I wanted a scrub scrub for my specific situation. - This foams VERY well and a little does truly go a long way but you need your hair to be VERY wet to properly massage the grit into the scalp comfortably - The grit does actually exfoliate the scalp more than just a simple clarifying shampoo would. - The grit is easy to wash out and doesnt take much if any extra work to wash out of your hair - HOWEVER The clarifying part truly does strip ALL oil, so the hair becomes quite dry (?hard to work with, not soft, lots of friction) despite being wet. I use Skala Donna instead of traditional conditioner, so I just put a little on my hands and ran it through the scalp parts of my hair to rehydrate the hair. I typically dont use conditioner on the scalp because mine gets oily and so for me its not good. Overall I really like this. I would probably use it once a month during depressive episodes, but up to twice a month for normal use because of how clarifying it is. If you get build up or oil less often, maybe once or twice ever 2 to 3 months.

I have been a fan of NatureLab scalp scrub for sometime now but this is my first time using the yuzu version. I love the smell, but be aware it is real citrus not just fragrance and it will burn your eyes if you aren’t careful. I have psoriasis so I’m glad it isn’t synthetic or I wouldn’t be able to use it. Some of their products I can use and some I can’t, but this one seems to be ok because my skin has been clearing up since starting to use this shampoo and ditching the last one (other brand).

I have scalp psoriasis and sometimes it just feels as though I need more than just shampoo, so I decided to try this. It was recommended in a magazine article on scalp health. I used too much the first time, but it was a very effective scrub and rinsed out very easily and completely. There was no pain or burning on my scalp and afterwards my scalp felt great. The only downside was that my fine hair was kind of beat up and needed a mask to recover. Could be because I used too much, but I think most people would need at least a good conditioner after using this.

My absolute favorite scalp scrub/shampoo. Awesome to travel with too. I have bought this so many times. And it smells awesome! This stuff is great. Makes your hair squeaky clean but doesn’t dry it out.

Super easy to use, and a little goes a long way! I love how it smells and makes my hair feel. It really gets in there and cleans your scalp, I highly recommend.
