This is one of the best skeeter zappers we have in our war against the BLOODSUCKERS! The important thing to remember is that you need to bring these online EARLY in the season in order to collapse the bug population before it becomes unmanageable due to the rapid expansion. We have ours (more than one) powered up in mid to late APRIL and we see cooked critters within a few days!! In the peak season you need to clean the unit DAILY. It's a necessary step to keep the power grid clean (I use an air compressor) to blow away the crispy carcasses. Needless to say, we like our new zapper!! Five stars!!!

Love it so much I bought my mom one. It scares my dog but I think she's slowly getting used to the popping noise. I've had it for almost a year and it's still going strong. It's super bright. Must be plugged in at all times which kind of sucks otherwise I highly recommend. I also bought the solar panel one at the same time I bought this one to compare. It doesn't work. Either I got a defective one or the voltage is so weak it does nothing. I really wanted that one to work because I love the solar panel idea, plus the not needing an outlet so felt I could take it camping. Save yourself the money and get this one. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because it's a bit bulkier than I expected and I'm having a really hard time getting the tray off for cleaning it.

This amazing bug zapper started rapping all kinds of bugs right away the moment I turned it on even before nightfall. Highly recommended!

It worked great until the bulb went out. Have to buy a new bulb in order to use it for longer than a month and a half. We have other units that are still going strong 1 to 2 years after the first plug in! The bulb life span is so short, we haven't had to clean the unit! It's not worth the money if the bulb has to be replaced every couple of months.

Works great. Does what it says it’s supposed to do. Really like the light sensor so I don’t have to bother with turning it on and off every day. Satisfied.

I like how easy it is to change the bulb. There's no hit or miss. Also like the long extended cord with a daylight off feature.
