Russell StoverEaster Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate Easter Egg, 1.3 oz each

I have had a difficult time finding the vanilla creme eggs in local stores this year. I've been looking since before Valentines day and have had literally zero luck at multiple stores from Walmart, Kroger, Giant Eagle or Dollar General. I decided to look and see what was available on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I could order a case and the seller was Russell Stover. Last year I ordered cases directly from the Russell Stover website and while they were excellent the shipping is expensive.I actually had two cases of 18 in my cart (I'm not the only one who loves them. The grandkids do as well. I left them in my cart and checked on Amazon and what I found was that a case is almost $2 cheaper on Amazon from Russell Stover than it is on their own website and there is no shipping charge. I ordered a box hopeful that they wouldn't be left from last year and thus not real fresh and was surprised to see just how fresh they are. The center is super soft and these eggs are wonderful. I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys the vanilla creme eggs as I do.

Love the candy, but the package was “stuffed” into the mailbox & crushed them into pieces. Delicious but messy!

The chocolate covered marshmallow candy was soft and delicious.

I was impressed by the size of these “eggs”. Each was individually wrapped. For the most part all came in good shape. The cracking of the chocolate shell was due to the brittleness of the dark chocolate. I readily cracked into pieces when bitten into. But that dark chocolate was rich, very good. I only wish there had been more maple flavor in the cream. The cream was good, a vanilla flavor , very rich. I gave the 4 stars as I was ready for that maple flavor that wasn’t there. Otherwise, a very rich, and even large candy for Easter.

I can't find the chocolate-covered marshmallow with caramel in the store anymore, whether it's the Valentine's hearts, Easter eggs, Halloween pumpkins...either they sell out immediately or they just aren't delivered to the various grocery and convenience stores in my area, not sure. So I decided to try buying them here at Amazon, figuring they were around the same price each for a box of 18 as buying them individually from a local store. They were fresh, tasty, and well packaged - and I somehow managed to make the case of 18 last for a couple of weeks, lol! Next time I'll have to hide them from myself so I don't eat one a day...
