Just what I needed. Works great with my caraway cookware.

Fits perfectly with the pot and pan set I purchased. Am replacing all my miscellaneous pots and pans and my cast iron with this brand. Great quality, lighter than my cast iron and everything fits- lids, steamers etc. Will continue buying this brand. Recommended by Consumer Reports.

The product description is a bit misleading. The Large size is compatible with the dutch oven, and the small size is compatible with the sauce pan. Other than that, great quality and no complaints!

I bought the 8" steamer for another brand of cookware. My saucepan is a true 8". The inside diameter of the steamer is about 7 1/4", so it fits fine in my saucepan. However the top of the steamer is only about 7 1/2", so my saucepan's 8" cover does not fit inside the top of the steamer.The steamer is very high quality and I'd recommend it. My comments are only about measurement. It would be nice for the company to display an image with actual measurements.

I was surprised at how well built. This is for a steamer. I have hex clad 3 quart pots and it doesn't fit exactly right but it will work. I plan on getting a 5-quart and I'm sure it'll fit just right. It's really amazing! And well built quality. I don't know if anyone would need the five quart or the large because this is enough for two to three people in terms of steaming vegetables.

Expensive but have to careful not to scratch
