Thumbs Up for Velpeau: Durable, Breathable, and Built to Stay Put
These stockinette-style arm and hand sleeves offer the familiar comfort of traditional liners with smart upgrades. The fabric is thicker and more durable than standard options, making them ideal for long-term, washable reuse. The thumb anchor keeps each sleeve securely in place, and the gentle compression may offer mild support for certain conditions. The material is ridged yet breathable, allowing airflow while protecting sensitive skin, perfect for lining braces, splints, or casts. The fingerless design lets you maintain dexterity, and the extended length covers up to the middle knuckle for added protection. You can also roll them back to expose more of your hand if needed.

Comfortable reusable after washing
Very comfortable under wrist brace. I cut them down to fit. Kept the extra pieces for later use incase you have a wound to cover that a bandaid doesn't fit. I used the extra finger piece I cut off on my index finger where I got a dry split. It worked great. I wash the pieces after wearing a couple days. They hold up pretty well.

Great comfort and protection.
Highly recommend if wearing a full length arm and wrist brace. No raw areas from rubbing and I feel that it allowed "breathability" between the brace and skin. I had open wounds and these sleeves kept the bandages in place and prevented longer healing time. I used them every day for almost 6 weeks. When I was down graded to wrist brace only, I cut the excess length and again felt better protected than if I hadn't had these sleeves. I even have a few left for the "next time" or for whoever may need them.

Very comfortable
I found these to be a must have to wear under my removable splint. They are comfortable and easy to wash. The only reason these didn’t get five stars is the fray easily at the edges.

Great under a wrist brace!
My wife broke her wrist, and they never recommended an underbrace covering. I found out about these after she was getting sore spots from the brace rubbing. These are great! They aren't expensive, and within a couple of days, the sores from rubbing went away. I believe they are washable as well, but they give you ten at a low price, so if you just need them for a few weeks, they are biodegradable and cheap enough to use once.

Functional, but mediocre quality.
They did what I needed them to do. They provided a barrier under my wrist brace. Not amazing quality. It came unraveled easily, and the it lost its elasticity relatively quickly.

More comfortable under a wrist brace
The orthopedic doctor supplied me with only one liner when he fitted my brace: a simple knit tube with a hole cut out for my thumb, and a smaller tube for my thumb. I did not like the idea of wearing the same liner 24/7 for a month or more, so I purchased these cotton arm socks. They have been great. They came in a package of 10, so I can change the liner daily and not have to wash them every day. They keep the brace from chafing my skin and are very soft and comfortable. I was a little worried about the seam along the thumb, but I don't notice it at all.So far, I have hand washed them once, and they held up pretty well. That said, the top and bottom edges are raw (unhemmed), and by the second wearing, they are beginning to fray and develop small runs at the bottom edge. ( Possibly the top edge also, but I folded that in because my hands are small, so the top edge is less exposed than the bottom edge near the elbow.) They are clearly not intended to be used over and over, and I would not risk washing them in the washing machine. But if you hand wash them gently and let them hang dry, you should be able to get several wearings out of each arm sock.
