I bought this excluder because it was a white aluminium extrusion held in place with screws in slotted holes. It was easy enough to fit - good instructions and all went to plan. Took just over an hour but I didn't rush. The door is on the sunny side of the house so I thought the aluminium rather than a plastic equivalent would resist the sunlight better. Screws and slotted holes allowed me to adjust the seals to just touch the door so you didn't need to put your shoulder behind the door to shut it. I would have given it 5 stars but the two vertical sides of the seal come in two pieces. One longer piece would be nicer but the join isn't too obtrusive. I cut the aluminium shorter than the rubber on the top half and vice versa on the bottom to stagger the join of the two and that also helped with the seal's alignment. Pleased with the result of keeping the draughts out.

These do the job very nicely. They look neat and smart too.

The product is of excellent quality and very easy to install. My only grumble (very minor) is that all the strips are in approx 3ft lengths. This makes is slightly more complex to install and there is joint, albeit not really noticeable on longer lengths i.e. height of door frame. However, I think that this small issue is offset by the minimal cost of delivery, and regardless, the product does what it "says on the tin". Overall an excellent product.

Be careful when fitting! The instructions are wrong! It clearly states that I should have 3x lengths @ 1025mm with a straight rubber seal. This is not the case!It seems that the pack actually has 2x lengths @ 1050mm with a straight seal AND 1x lengths @ 920mm with a straight seal!Seems to be a decent enough product but marking it down for the instructions issue - would be easy to follow the steps and cut/fit the wrong piece. You need to make sure the shorter piece goes to the top of the door.

This product consists of five metal frames, each containing a rubber strip similar to a windscreen wiper, and the rubber strip is placed against the door to achieve draught proofing. However, two of my rubber strips were angled in the frame at a more acute angle than the other three, which meant that if these dissimilar strips and frames are fixed adjacent to one another, then they will not be in alignment and the installation will look untidy because one frame will be nearer the door than the other. Fortunately, this can be avoided if the two dissimilar strips are fixed next to one another on one door jamb. but in the event that three dissimilar strips are supplied, this would not be possible.The product seems to work well as a draught proofer however, and my experience may just have been a one off manufacturing defect.
