Good funny design. Does the job..

Well Folks an excellent egg boiler. I put my 800w mircowave oven on for four minutes and the egg white was clear and runny, so I put another egg on for five and a half minutes and the egg yolk was perfect for me, the egg yolk was slightly soft.

These two egg boilers were bought as a substitute for an older model that had worn out. The principle is simple. The whole egg in its shell is encased in an aluminium shell inside the boiler that blocks all microwaves. It sits above a small reservoir of water that isn't shielded, which boils quickly when heated by the microwave oven. This cooks the egg in about 3.5 minutes in my 800W oven. A small needle is also supplied to pierce the egg's shell and yolk before cooking to prevent the yolk from exploding.I've used my old boiler for years as a quick way of preparing a boiled egg without pans of water on the hob. These new ones work in exactly the same way and are very efficient as long as the instructions are followed closely. Recommended.

Didn't like it it's a faff if you want more than one egg

Advertised as a 4 egg cooker reason for buying. Only fits 1 egg

It’s very difficult to get them out of the microwave without scolding yourself even with an oven glove . The two halves don’t fit together easily . Overall the product was disappointing .

This was my 1st trial and success ! 4:30 by microwave oven and waited 2 mins to cool down . Used the oven mit and the silicone tong for the extra care to avoid the hazards .Originally so much sceptical about the way to cook egg 🥚 due to the concern of the explosion 💥 but perfectly cooked as shown on the photo and safe if you follow the instructions properly ! Delightful morning !!! Thank you !

Looks really cute. Easy to use. Easy peasy boiled eggs in five & a half minutes - no pan to wash. An easy snack.
