I recently purchased this fan and I genuinely couldn’t be more impressed. It’s been a total game changer – highly recommend it! The performance is excellent, and it’s surprisingly well-priced, especially considering it’s often compared to a Dyson (but without the hefty price tag). With 12 speed modes, it gives you full control over the airflow, and it’s pleasantly quiet even on the higher settings – no loud whirring or disturbance, which is a huge plus. One clever feature I love is the customisable oscillation. You can actually set the rotation angle (e.g. 30°, 90°, etc.) through the companion app, which isn’t possible via the remote – a handy tip that makes a big difference depending on the room setup. It also pairs well with your phone, making it super convenient to control from anywhere. Delivery took under a week, which was perfectly reasonable – and totally worth the wait. All in all, it does the job perfectly and then some. I absolutely love it! Highly recommended.

Super impressed with just how good this fan is. Firstly setting up the fan was super easy. Remove the large red screw piece, slot the 2 base pieces together and reattach with the large red screw. The power wire is about 3ft so an extension lead may be required. Secondly the style and general look of the fan is perfect for me, as you can see in the pictures it goes great with my flooring and just generally looks much better than all the fans I’ve had before. The dial on the front isn’t super bright but it’s bright enough to see in sunlight. The back of the fan can be completely removed by just one screw so I’m happy I can fully clean the blades at some point down the line. The power of the fan is superb, especially because you have 12 levels which means you can go from an extremely quiet and low breeze at level 1 to a strong gust at level 12. My old fan had 5 levels and honestly was louder at level 1 than this fan is at level 6. It’s super quiet which is really good for falling asleep to and the sleep mode works well. For me the natural mode just doesn’t get used and I don’t see the point in it, but all fans have it as an option. I’m really impressed with the auto mode as it will actually analyse the temperature of your room and change the fan speed based on that. That’s worth paying the extra money for sure. How accurate the temperature readings are is hard to measure but from my use it does seem to work really well. Could be extremely accurate or maybe a degree or 2 off but certainly close enough to make auto mode a fantastic option. The remote is ok and does have all the buttons you would need but if you sit far away from the fan then it might be a case of full on pointing and clicking a few times to get a response. For me I use either the app or Alexa to control the fan so this isn’t an issue whatsoever. The app is fantastic looking and shows a perfect image of the fan, allows you to change the name and change all settings. This is especially good for changing the oscillation levels from 30,60,90,120. I don’t believe you can do this with the remote. I haven’t seen any other fan offer a 120 degree oscillation so that’s really good to have. The touch buttons on the top work brilliantly, however I don’t see myself using those much as I have the app. Alexa was the simplest setup ever. Once you’ve got the Dreo app just click on the Alexa button and it automatically loads the Alexa app and links it for you. Really happy with the no fuss setup. Overall an expensive fan compared to other brands and even most other Dreo models but you get what you pay for. This is the top of the line fan that looks better than other fans, has more levels, more oscillations, more settings and is more powerful. Simply the best. Highly recommend.

The Dreo 42 Inch Pilot Max Smart Fan is excellent! It’s powerful but surprisingly quiet, with a wide range of settings to suit any need. The smart features and remote make it really convenient, and it cools the room quickly without taking up much space. Stylish, efficient, and worth every penny!

Perfect for moving the air round a stuffy room, very powerful good quality fan. Would recommend. But bigger than I expected but it’s 120 degree oscillation it reaches the whole room and quickly made a difference. For an extra cooling effect pair it with a frozen bottle or water and you can bring your room temp down a full 10 degrees in our case. Only reason for deducting a star is mine came without an instruction manual and had difficulty getting the app to work currently waiting on support team for a solution.

There must be something very wrong with me or I just somehow love DREO fans I can tell you I love the DREO fans. I have 3 of them one for my daughters room, one for my bedroom and now I’ve just bought and got this Pilot Max S DREO fan for the living room and I am just super happy about all of these fans. This company knows how to make fans they really do and at an affordable price if ever you was considering getting a fan DREO is the fan for you to keep you cool. ATM as you see from this picture it’s on 8 and it’s quiet of course the fan will make noise but it’s not like unbearable and no need to turn the tv too loud so that’s a plus however in my picture it shows the tv is off. Airflow is just brilliant. I know that the fans for sleep quality works the size is perfect easy to use and easy to put together. Effectiveness is out of this world. Perfect!!!

Great fan - replaces my old 'standard' fan with so much more !! Voice activated with Alexa, great as we have lots of devices connected the same way, it also comes with an app that is very useable and works well (and can be used to set the fan when you're out and about). The fan also comes with a remote, but we haven't bothered due to Alexa/app (buttons also on the fan itself). The fan looks good, although it is tall (so check size before ordering), the digital display switches off automatically when the lights go off, nice touch. Variable fan speeds works well and as others mention, anything from blasting to gentle wind. The noise level is ok, not quiet, but certainly not noisy either and we've slept for the last few weeks with the fan on level 4-5 without it waking us up. Overall a great fan and if needed I'd certainly look to buying another one of these over anything else. We had to put our fan on a small stool so it blows over the bed (height thing) but otherwise no issues

Worth every penny, a really good fan and is bang for the buck. Is extremely silent as advertised and even at max speed, it’s not loud enough to disturb you. At max speed the sound is equivalent of 2 people talking (but it doesn’t disturb the conversation). And at lower levels can get really quite like almost a whisper maybe. The natural mode is really good as it feels like natural wind flowing with speed randomly increasing or decreasing like it actually does outdoors. Haven’t tried sleep mode yet, but auto and windy mode both are good. App access is very easy to setup, remote is responsive, works really well with my Alexa Echo. Not too heavy either so easy enough to move around as well. Although the 120° oscillation covers almost entire room so it won’t need to be moved frequently. Best part is, you can select between 30, 60, 90 and 120° oscillation which i found really helpful since i can set it based on how many people are in the room and how far from each other are they sitting.

I don’t always leave reviews but thought it necessary to save people the brain damage I put into searching for a decent fan. I’m not very trusting when it comes to reviews but read enough to pull the trigger on this Dreo. I put it together in 2 minutes. Sleek silver and black design. 12 speeds with a decent remote. Very very powerful and very quiet up to the 10th speed. Still pretty quiet on 11-12 considering it feels like a 10 mph gust of wind. Seriously. It wouldn’t even be necessary to put it that high in a pretty big room. Great distance. It would reach you at 25-30 feet on 10. I’m feeling it nicely on 3 from 8 feet and can’t even hear it. I bought a Dyson based on the name, cool design, and supposed quiet function that I’m packing up to return. It was beautiful but way too loud even at mid-speed and it wasn’t nearly as powerful. I don’t know how it’s got a reputation of being quiet. This Dreo is at least twice as powerful with half the noise and at half the price. Sorry Dyson- I don’t like to bash companies but you’re way overmatched here. I generally hate fans but I’m living without AC in NY humidity. They always feel like they’re just blowing hot air on you. This oddly feels like cold air. I’ve never experienced that with a fan. Trust me people - you’ll be happy with this one. Functions well. Solid build. By far the best tower fan I’ve ever owned.

This smart tower fan works flawlessly and is extremely quiet, even at medium speeds. At high speeds, it remains much quieter than traditional fans. The app and its functions are fantastic. You can mute the beeps when changing settings and the panel turns off at night to avoid any light disturbance. Highly recommended!
