Exact;y what our Dell Inspiron 5559 needed
Our Dell Inspiron 5559's power jack finally gave out. I panicked a little - I have never disassembled a laptop before. I found a few videos on YT regarding the power jack replacement for our model laptop. It didn't look too hard. So, i bought the part. I got the part after a shipping delay (not on the seller's part) and I started with the repair. The jack went in well, but it took 3 attempts to all the connectors to seat properly. The laptop now charges and functions well. My advice, work slow, watch the videos and you will succeed. By the way, buy from this seller - no issues.

So far we put this in a few weeks ago and it has worked great. It wasn’t the easiest to install but that’s just because it is a tedious process to replace.
