Easy to use, portable or can be plugged into mains. Adaptor included too unlike some of the others

Sadly couldnt get this to work. The seller was helpful, but when sent back they said it was all good. I tried a new disc, which plays fine on another player, but wouldn't play on this.Also be aware that if you send back you are charged £7.99? for return postage!

Disliked the fact you need earphones to listen, I just wanted 1 to sit in my desk

I originally gave this a rating of 1 as the disc player kept shutting off. We eventually found that the reason for this is that the two times I used this (in the middle of the night because I couldn't sleep), I hit the on button when I wanted it to stop. this stopped the machine but didn't turn it off, hence draining the batteries. It does work but I am unable to use it for what I want because putting the light on in the middle of the night (to turn it off) will wake my husband and also wake me up again. Would be ok if I wanted it on out on a walk, but I like to hear what is going on around me so that I am aware. I would say not suitable to the older generation, which is what I belong too!!

As above. This was to replace a much older but similar machine. Service from seller was excellent and very happy with the contents. My only niggle is the volume{or is my hearing getting worse as I age?] as well as earphones provided, I do use a small set of portable amplifiers but the volume is very low.
