I got into the metal modelling some time ago as an alternative to some expensive other hobbies. I have been doing those models with a simple pair of tweezers for some time and it's been ok. I recently got a new collection of models to work on and this toolkit seemed like a nice investment. It had a good selection of tools and a nice variety of sizes of metal rods to roll with. The tools are all generally good quality - the side snips have done the job nicely in removing the metal plates. The various tweezers have also helped me get into some tricky spots I wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. So I'm pleased. But I wouldn't try doing the models with this kit to begin with - there are techniques and idiosyncrasies that it helps to do them with the most tooling first so you can make your mistakes.

This set gives you all the tools you'll need to complete the metal earth models to a better standard. I've done a few models before I brought this & it can be difficult, I was rummaging around in toolboxes looking for things I could roll bits round or help fold certain things, this kit has it all in one place, even the small snips to cut the pieces out of the sheet makes things easier. But I would only get it if you intend to take this up as an hobbie & do several models.

Nice sturdy products, only used for brass models but cutters still good after 700 pieces

Good quality product and reasonably priced brought and used for the metal 3d puzzles made life a whole lot easier

Good selection of tools to make metal models, only downside are the pliers which are slightly out of shape at the tip making it hard to grip small parts. Other than that great purchase.
