Kerbl Transport Box Expedion with Plastic Door, 45 x 30 x 30 cm, Creme/ Bordeaux

I bought this for our "little man", a beautiful black moggy. I am disabled and find our usual larger box is impossible for me to carry with said little man in it. This box is ideal, it just clips together, I have arthritis in my hands and I managed to do most of them (hubby did the rest as my fingers were sore and I should have let him do it in the first place!). Anyway, Milo (his actual name) has been to the vet a fer times in it and I managed on my own. It's not as sturdy as the big one but excellent value and very light. Milo fits in it easily, with a blanket, and he's an average cat size. We take him away at weekends with the caravan and he's fine. If it's a long journey we would use the larger, heavier box. Hubby would be there to lift it. This was bought to enable me to manage vet and small journeys by myself. In this respect it's ideal.

These were good took cats from London to Wales no problem. Had to make comfy by putting thier blankets in bottom. Ok for small to medium cats. Unfortunately my two are bigger so they were slightly cramped in

Our two kittens are now cats so I decided to buy an additional carrier for vet’s check ups. This one is easy to assemble. It looks colourful too. The carrier is smaller than I expected (perhaps I selected the wrong one). The body is not as rigid as the one we have from a well known UK pet store (see photos for comparison). It gave way a bit to the cat’s weight (just under 4kg), when I lifted it. That made me doubt if the handle and side brackets would hold it together securely. For extra confidence, I kept a hand under the base to take the weight (I was only taking it out to the car). However, there are holes at each corner (see photo) where I could insert ties for extra strength. For the money, it is okay value.

I've been worrying about this order, having read the reviews. But I am very happily impressed with this cat carrier. It's sturdy, easy to put together and a good size foe my medium sized puss. I'd definitely recommend it.

We got this as out kitten has to go to the vets every month, the size is ok but you could not get a large adult in it .The box is sturdy but the part they look through keeps falling off and is not very strong, a larger cat could push the grid out am sure , for now it will do but we will need to upgrade sadly at some point as she grows .

Used for various visits to the vets and has worked well without any issues. Lightweight and reasonable build quality for the price (100% made of plastic). The size works well for my cat, and I can secure it in my car using the seatbelt hooks.

The clips and fixings on this cat basket are not fit for purpose. Even a small hammer did not get the fastenings on properly. Now we have toGet something to tie it together so cat cannot escape. Also when a cat is put in this awful basket the door will not close quickly. Not hinged. Will probably get out immediately and will hide so late for vets. This item is pretty useless. I’m an elderly adult and husband was an airline Engineer. It is utterly useless and has no real purpose. Even strapped together I have doubts about reliability. Safe strapping will cost a lot to make sure it does injure the cat. Might as well have paid double in the first place. It’s for a very elderly and ill cat who is going to be unwilling to go into the basket as it is. One way journey for it. Thought it would at least be ok for one journey. It does NOT comeAssembled. Make sure you buy an assembled basket. Otherwise you might have a lot of trouble!I suggest you do not buy this plastic basket.
