Q: how do you use it for brine shrimp?

You soak any food source such as brine shrimp in the formula. I don’t think live brine shrimp would work though.

Q: Can this be used in freshwater aquariums?

The bottles I have say Marine Use Only...sorry.However, I do use on food I give my Angels and Madag. Rainbows...which is freshwater. No harm that I can see.

Q: How long will a bottle last with normal use?

I use it only once a week. It last me a long time because I use other supplements on other days so about 5 months. 220 gallon tank

Q: is this the same as Zoecon?

Very similar. Selcon is the original formula. Kent made Zoecon years after Selcon was on the market.
