I've used this on 10 or so dives with my GoPro attached to the end and other to my BC.. it's more impressive then I thought it would be because for using a GoPro on a hand held mount with this allowed me a lot of freedom to get pictures but not worry if my hand slips off it.. Of course, you can use this for other means but it was perfect for me. The blue curled thing is very durable and quality made - it will hold up under rough conditions for sure. I'd trust this over some of the cheaper offerings you might see from dive shops that are just your plastic clip and lanyard

I used this on a recent scuba diving trip and was very happy with it. If you want to snug it up to your BCD, you can clip it up. If you want your computer to dangle so that your computer is easier to see, you can do that too. It seems strong and well built. The clips are both plastic and heavy duty stainless steel. It didn't rust after 6 days in salt water with a fresh water rinse after each day's scuba diving sessions were over. I was pleasantly pleased.
