Decent quality kashakas
Good quality kashakas for a low price. You can easily adjust the rope to the right length for you. Fun to use! Happy with my purchase!

Just ok
Given the price, I was expecting a plastic shaker with a sound that is just ok, and that's what I got. What I wasn't expecting, though:- Very loud shaker sound.- Larger than expected shakers - hard to catch when playing. Also makes it harder to release the top shaker between the forefinger and middle finger to reverse the two, if you know the "move" I'm talking about- Connecting ropes were two different lengths. I was able to adjust the longer one to match the shorter, and luckily the short one was long enough for my handsApart from that, they're playable, but not necessarily enjoyable. Overall, too loud and too large, IMO, but for a good price

Fun!
These are beginner models. Made of plastic so the sound isn’t as good as the wooden models, but lots of fun.

Plastic = Thumbs Down
Aslatuas are normally hollowed out gourd that have a really great sound when hit together. These were plastic and made almost no sound when hit together so all you could hear was the shaker part of it and it was a big mess of sound. Not rhythmic at all :(

Great shaker instruments.
Great little shakers, now to learn how to play them...

Poor sound quality and build.
Unfortunately the plastic used in the construction of this product doesn’t produce a vibrant tone, instead you get a very dull lifeless thump when contact is made at best. The shaker sound of the product isn’t bad so I thought I’ll just use them as hand shakers and remove the rope. Once I removed the rope all the leaded shaker beads came pouring out where the rope was once threaded through the center. Needless to say they went into the garbage and left me with a 15 minute floor cleanup.

Great instrument
I watched a video of a Ghanaian man explaining this instrument. It was great and I purchased it. I love it. I have family from Ghana and loved purchasing this item from the mother land.
