Well made - sturdy
This is a very well made tool and works great. I planted potatoes snd there are some deep roots in my garden bed and this tool cut right through them. The measurements on the knife are useful. Comfortable handle. Lightweight. Carry sleve is nice too.

Most awesome garden tool ever!
I am so happy that I discovered this amazing garden tool! I have stubborn weeds that no other tool will remove but this one does. If it won't dig it out, you can use it like a sideways saw to cut them at the root. It will cut through fairly thick weed stems. The point at the end can be used to scrape the weeks out of sidewalk cracks. It is also very sturdy, heavy duty, up for tough jobs. I hardly ever write reviews but this one I just had to.

My new favorite gardening tool!! 🤩
I use this nearly everyday now that the weather is warming up. I like it so much better than my trowels. I’ve used it to dig, plant, pull up weeds and cut off unwanted branches. I really appreciate the sharp point and the ease of breaking up clods of soil. This is high quality and I anticipate being able to use it for years to come!I also plan to buy some for gifts for my children who love gardening as much as I do! 😁

Must Have for the Garden!
This is my favorite garden tool, It breaks through tough clay, is small enough to divide transplants, cuts weeds, etc and etc. So may uses, I've gifted to other avid gardeners who've been equally as pleased as I am. I get a little anxious if I mislay it somewhere until I find it again. Highly recommended.

Modern version of classic tool
I have an older, classic style of a horihori, meaning it doesn’t have a hilt for safety. This tool was exactly what I wanted. Great build quality and comfortable (and safe) grip. I cannot speak as to longevity, as it is a recent purchase and doesn’t yet have the “miles” to rate.

Great!
Yeah this is a really a cool life. I got it for my wife. She likes it very much. It works great. She does a lot of gardening. These are not available where we live at. We live in the Philippines. Highly recommend it sharp, good and durable

A must-have tool for anyone who digs in the dirt
I've had a hori hori knife for years and purchased this one for my elderly aunt who was so impressed with mine that she wanted one. We planted flowers at family gravesites recently and when she saw how easily my knife cut through the sod in minutes to put in the flowers, she asked me to get her one. I researched several and read the reviews before deciding on this one and I'm glad I did. The knife blade is stainless steel and is pretty substantial, we used it to hack through a couple small limbs at her house and it held up well. The sheath, too, is thick and fits the knife easily.I use my own knife for so many things that I can't imagine being without one, I use this more than any other gardening tool. It's great for cutting through roots when separating plants, digging holes, trimming leaves... it's like a knife plus. The serrated edge is what makes this so invaluable, and the measurement scale along the blade is a great bonus (it's pressed into the metal, not just stamped on so it will hold up for years). If you don't have a hori hori knife I think you'll find it's one of those tools you never knew you needed until you have it :)
