It is really easy to create the mold with your teeth. Unfortunately, my mouth is small and while it did help with grinding, it ended up hurting my gums. Other than that, it definitely helps with preventing grinding your teeth.

I purchased this to prevent grinding at night. Rather than buy something expensive from a dentist I wanted to try this first. My worry was that this would be too bulky or uncomfortable, but I've been very happy with the fit. Once molded, it's actually quite small and feels more like a thick skin over my teeth. I've used this for about 2 weeks now and so far and I haven't experienced any sore spots that one might get from a mouthpiece. The instructions for molding it worked well and one just has to be careful to not bite too hard while molding it - otherwise you could bite through it as some reviews indicate.

Been wearing night guards for 15 years now bc being born without one side incisor, even after 3 rounds of braces I don’t have alignment and majorly grind my teeth. I wore Dr’s night guard for years bc after getting fancy expensive guards thru insurance including the army, I still chewed thru them at the same rate. Recently it felt like Dr’s guard was too thick so I first tried Protect the Crown and tried this Kloud brand second. Protect the Crown is by far the winner here which was surprising. For some reason, this Kloud material is too easily compressed so within 2 nights the Kloud guard was no longer providing any real relief or protection. Protect the crown lasts about 2 months per guard and you get 2 per pack. I used the Dr’s for about 5-6 months per so not far off but my jaw feels much more relaxed in true morning with Protect the Crown bc they’re not as thick. They’re also easier to make.

I tried this product for a while. First, it was incredibly difficult to mold following their instructions and took forever. While wearing it, the first few times it was so thick it didn’t fit right and I literally gagged wearing it. Eventually I got used to it, but it’s super chewy and because it’s so thick, it would just cause me to grit my teeth even harder (this is something I struggle with any night guard, but I found this one being a lot worse). Almost every time I wear it, my gums end up cut. I know I didn’t pay big money, but i had so many issues I wouldn’t recommend this night guard
