I live in the mountains of New Hampshire where spring is very buggy. This is the most effective repellent I have found for both black flies and mosquitoes. After it dries on your skin, there is no odor like most repellents so you don't have to smell like Deet, and it lasts a long time so no need to reapply. The only negative is you have to put it on where you can wash your hands (suggest before you leave the house) because if even a little gets on your lips it has a very bitter taste.

We have a lot of mosquitoes, and we have tried so many things that say they work but didn’t. When I got the Proven mosquito repellent I put it on one arm and left the other without. Was outside for 15 mins, and got no bites on the Proven arm, but 2 on the other arm. Today I put it on both all non-covered areas and helped my son setup a camper. He was getting bit and I wasn’t. He immediately went and used the spray, I prefer the lotion, and stopped getting bit. This stuff really works, and last all day, and I don’t breakouts from using it. It hardly has a smell too. I highly recommend for anyone who the mosquitoes normally love.

I swear by this bug repellent!!My youngest has skeeter-syndrome, so bug bites are literally the END OF THE WORLD at our house. This lotion is pleasant smelling, non sticky, and LONG LASTING. I have put it on him before an overnight trip and he returned the next day bite free! We often pair it with the spray for extra protection. If you are looking for a deet alternative that does not smell or feel like you are bathing in toxic chemicals, this is wonderful.

Works like a charm, the skin feels nice and clean when you apply it and it doesn’t make you feel oily, it really is an invisible shield against those horrible blood sucking insects!

As someone who gets bitten everywhere and anywhere bugs ALWAYS find me (and i mean *anywhere* such as in inside indoor New york restaurants and places you'd never imagine getting bitten). Since using this before going out, my summer has dramatically improved! It has no smell, isn't greasy or bothersome at all. A great product alternative to spray!

The media could not be loaded. This is hands down the best insect repellent I’ve come across. It’s perfect for kids and adults. It has a very light scent, its like a silky lotion and it’s not sticky and dries quickly. And best of all, it actually works. My mom is always getting bit by mosquitos no matter what she uses, except for this. It has simple, safe ingredients for kids too.
