Fake
This pen is a fake!! I have one I bought from pen shop in Liverpool Street and when I opened he packaging the Parker packaging was not right. I then weighted the pen and it was too light . It was not metallic at all - all plastic. So I took it to the pen shop and they confirmed it was fake. I will be returning this immediately.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed with this pen for a Parker very light weight & felt cheap, but more annoying was, it was going to be a gift and someone at Amazon decided to sellotape the end with a large 2inch piece of sellotape so when you tried to remove the outer sleeve of the gift box it was all stuck together & would have torn the gift box, this was not a good look to give as a present as it would have looked seconhand and cheap at the same time. Very very disappointed with Amazon so ended up buying a much nicer one from EBay.

" It Doesn't Write At All " , " It Glides BEAUTIFULLY "
First thing you will notice if you know what your looking for, is it is an "Original Parker Pen" not one of those fake Parker's you can pick up at your local market. That was my main fear. Original pens do not write, "They Glide", bringing back the fun in writing "I am using the Gel Version". This in turn improves your hand writing skills by at least 20 - 40% in my opinion. If your were to compare a Bic "with the end chewed off lol" with a Parker, well there wouldn't be much of a comparison and at the low cost of the Parker Jotter, it wouldn't break the bank even if you did loose it. As for photos, you dont need any from me as the images already produced from Amazon are spot on. You get what you see here.10/10 for Parker you will never look back.

Would be a fantastic pen but for Quinkflow ink and slightly careless work
This is a gorgeous, well-balanced, mechanically sound pen. It's a bit short, but everybody should know what they're getting with a Parker Jotter. The letdown is the Parker Quinkflow refill it comes with. After three weeks of regular use, more than 5% of my strokes leave no mark due to stalled flow or rolling. So just buy some non-Parker replacements, and it's brilliant. There were some machining problems with it, though, and QC. There were sharp filings and loose strips of metal where the clip is affixed to the barrel. If I hadn't noticed it, they certainly would have cut me. I really expect better quality control than this.

Cheap - Made in France
This Made In France Parker is quite a cheap pen that is adequate for school use and the occasional letter. It is cheaply made, with a PLASTIC BARREL and nib holder that do not 'exude' quality. The cap is stainless steel. It is a small pen. It takes proprietary Parker cartridges and does not come with a converter. The steel nib doesn't flex, so out-of-the-box feels hard and unresponsive. Initially it is also quite scratchy on rough paper, also, the ink flow gives a weak line.Usually, nibs can be improved significantly by polishing them using extra-fine emery paper (extremely fine) and tines can be widened very very slightly by gently using a razor blade, and improves the ink flow to medium-wet. Neither of these solutions are for the faint-hearted or inexperienced pen user.Handling is not great: it is a small light pen and works best with the cap posted. I rate it as a kids' or ladies' pen, not one best suited to long essays.Overall, at c.£12 it doesn't really compare well with many Chinese pens such as the Jinhao X750 and X450 that are often cheaper and perform better (having some character to the line). Also, the Waterman Allure has better materials and nib at a similar price. For a bit more money, the Waterman Hemisphere is also better made, looks classier and has a nicer nib: there are often good deals on Amazon. As a pen to have ready for casual note-making it's just "OK" but there are better Parkers, notably the Chinese made Urban and IM series that may cost double, but are three times better in terms of nib character, materials and - especially - handling.Recommended? I am ambivalent really. It's a 'starter' pen, no more, and one that doesn't have a lot going for it. On the plus side, it is made in France.

Quite Faulty....
I expected the pen to be black in first of all as in the title it says black ink and this was supposed to be a gift but seems a bit dodgy also the pens spring is quite faulty so I wouldn’t really recommend this pen. I think it was also quite expensive for a faulty pen. The description should have more written. Quite disappointed first amazon item which was disappointing and it’s for a gift. And it’s not in an actual gift box it seems like they just put the pen inside.

Poor quality
My dad got me started on Parker pounds and I still have his one from about 15 years ago but still works perfectly. I drop this one on the floor and now the clicker won’t retract the pen, when I bought this pen I assumed I was paying for quality, very disappointing.
