Great Purchase
I bought the Kelty 20F double sleeping bag for my husband and I to share while camping. We have had our sleeping bag for over a year now and so far, I love everything about it. It is comfortable, warm, the extra blankets inside are nice and do come in handy, the zippers work smoothly, and I love that it zips down on both sides. Everything is well made and so far is holding up great. Have washed if twice and probably have used it camping over 10 times already. I really can't think of any negatives. We have used it in both our truck tent and tent trailer and have stayed in night time temps hovering around 30 degrees. My husband is a big guy and I am average size and we fit comfortably with room to spare. Great sleeping bag for car camping and fairly priced for its excellent quality.

Excellent oversize bag!
I had been waiting to review this sleeping bag until I had a chance to try it out.First, let me say that I use this sleeping bag all by myself, not two people (although there is plenty of room!), just me. I camp in a teardrop (it's actually a square top-a Hiker Trailer) which is basically a bed on wheels. I have a 6in thick, full size mattress in the trailer and although it takes regular sheets and other bedding, I realized that I move a lot when sleeping. I'd end up without covers and waking up because I was cold.A regular sleeping bag would have done the trick but I do not like the feeling of being stuffed in a sack. Enter the Kelty Doublewide. This sleeping bag has made a huge difference in sleep quality. I no longer wake up cold and without covers. It has lots of room so I can move around as much as I want. Best of all, I wake up well rested and warm. So far I have only used it in temperatures around 37-45F degrees. Later this winter I will try it out in freezing temperatures. The quality of the materials is very good and the attention to detail in the seams and finishing is excellent. It is a bulky item, but that is definitely expected and not a detractor (for me at least) as this is not a backpacking sleeping bag, if you want something similar for backpacking you may want to consider individual lightweight bags that can zip together. So far I am very happy with this sleeping bag and I am looking to years of cool and cold weather camping with it. Highly recommend it. (I am 5'8" tall and weigh 160-170 lbs, btw.)Happy camping!

Comfortable and Warm
HI - got for quick overnight stays. There is an interior "blanket" and the exterior sleeping bag cover. You can unzip the cover and just use the inside blanket if the temp is warm enough. Then you do not over heat while sleeping. The top of the bag is curved up, so the pillows don't escape during the night. If you are hard core camping, you could secure bag to the ground using tent nails. That way the bag won't shift and move around. Typically use it on a pull out couch or similar, so securing to the ground was not necessary. Comes with a bag for storage. And material is "satin like" so clothes are not getting friction caught while sleeping. Overall great purchase for 20s+ weather usage.

Different sleeping bag
No longer looking for a double sleeping bag good to survival at 20 degrees. I was lookin for a warm double bag to use in our 5th wheel with comfort at 40 degrees. Wife sleeps hot (not that kinda hot anymore) and I am freezing my tutu off. The interior material warms up almost immediately. The zippers are above the stress points illuminating you kicking the zippers down (open). The plus’s is the zippers do not zip down unless you pull them down, unheard of in the bags I have looked to buy for years past. Plenty of room for two, love the zippers and construction. Sleep with my wife, easily comfortable at 40 degrees, sleep with me throw a blanket on top. PS I don’t snore

Good Queen Sized Bag but not very warm
I bought this specific sleeping bag because I wanted a queen size bag that would keep me and my girlfriend warm when camping. We camped in Pennsylvania during the first week of June and used this bag. We both ended up getting a bit cold during the night. It probably got down to 40-50F overnight. I wished this bag had been a bit warmer. My single sleeping bag can keep me comfortable down to about 20F. This seems like a reoccurring problem with these queen size bags from any brand. The build quality of this bag is acceptable. It held up well after about 3 nights of use and I am quite satisfied with the interior blankets that come with it. The hood on top is nice too since you can stuff it with a pillow or put it over your head to keep warm.As far as the size goes, it is very spacious. It could probably fit 3 average sized people comfortably. Honestly, I don't think it needs to be this big. If they made it a bit smaller, it could still fit two people and would probably be warmer. You should also know that this sleeping bag is quite large when rolled up and in the bag. Its probably 3x larger than a normal sleeping bag when rolled up. This makes it really hard to store in your vehicle when traveling but that's the trade off if you want a queen size bag that can withstand the cold.Overall, I think this product is OK. Its a bit expensive but much better than the cheaper options meant for kids. The build quality and features are good but all I really wanted was something that would keep myself and my girlfriend warm overnight. This bag didn't really deliver on that. I will be keeping it since I think it could be good when combined with a liner or blanket. It is definitely built for summer camping. You would not have a good time if it gets below freezing at night and all you have is this sleeping bag.I would recommend this as long as you understand the limitations. It seems to be one of the better queen sleeping bags on the market right now but it is not cheap and is not good for cold weather. It also takes up a lot of room when rolled up. But it did provide some warmth and is pretty comfortable. If these caveats don't bother you, then you will probably like this sleeping bag.
