I bought this because we got a new puppy. We had a mat for our other dog and that mat was fine. However, when this puppy came home, she came with a passion for water. She loved to tip the large bowl of water over and play in it. Water would spill everywhere!Besides buying a heavy large ceramic water bowl, we bought this mat. It certainly is a well made mat. It has some weight to it, it does not slide around on the hardwood floor-even where I try to, and thought the new water bowl works better, when she does spill the water, it contains it with the high edges.The best part is the pocket on the end. It holds quite a bit of water, and all I need do is pick the mat up, getting the water into the pocket, and carry it over to the sink and pour it out.It is non-slip on the top so the bowls don’t slide around, and it is extremely easy to clean, either by wiping it up with a sponge, or wash it in the sink. I cannot attest to its durability, yet, as I have only had it a couple of months. But, my pup loves to chew on it and she has yet to puncture or rip it, still looking brand new. I Highly recommend it for multiple reasons.

This is a great product. Unfortunately one of my dogs will still slobber everywhere on the floor because he drinks then walks away from the bowl, so he’s drinking water from his jowls all over the floor. We would need something like this throughout the house for it to work with my dog. 😂😂😂

Keep the water and food from my dogs bowls contained. Easy to lift at one end water gets captured in the "pocket" at the other end and is easily emptied. Large heavy duty mat that is easy to clean as well.Highly recommend...

I like this. Got it for my kitty cause sometimes she's messy. Soft, easy to clean, stays in place and seems long lasting to me.

The quality seems good. The lip could be a couple inches taller and the pocket should be straight across not scalloped. It is deceiving when picking it up to empty. It doesn't hold as much water as hoped.

The mat was bigger than I thought and I actually got it for my cat who tends to be quite messy when eating. It does a good job of keeping the food and spillage on the mat itself and it keeps the bowl from sliding around at least a lot less than what it was before the mat. It's easy to clean quite durable and as I mentioned it's pretty big. But it does keep the spills on the mat and not on your floors. And for me that's a good thing. Again it says for dogs but I'm using it for my cat and I would recommend it for anyone with a cat or a dog it works just fine.

This worked just as advertised. I’m very happy with the purchase. My puppy can make a mess, but this mat contains it and is easy to clean, also!
