Great value for a 2TB SSD. Very easy to fit into my PS5. Very good read and write speeds. The heatsink looks and feels high-quality. So far has only one game installed and played from this drive, but no reliability issues.

Bought the 2TB variant for £72 for my PS5! I bought it after reading the reviews and I could see everyone complaining about lack of detailed instructions and that is true! So below is everything you wanna know: Features: • Works very well with PS5 • PS5 read test - 4700 • easy to install In the box • SSD • Heat Sink (Bottom and top) • 4 Thermal Pads (2 slim and 2 thick) • Screw and a screw driver Installation steps 1. Stick one "thick" thermal pad to the bottom heat sink by peeling the sticker 2. Remove the sticker from the other side and place the SSD with the chip facing upwards, ensure that both ends of the chip leak out of the heat sink equally 3. Now stick one "slim" thermal pad to the top heat sink by removing the stickers 4. Sandwich the top heat sink by locking one end of the heat sink and then pressing it to lock the other end, you will hear a click (if you use two thick thermal pads you will not be able to perfectly squeeze it and may damage the SSD) 5. Plug it to the PS5 and tighten it with the screw already inside the PS5 Just ensure that you are using the thick thermal pad at the bottom and the slim thermal pad to the top and you will be good Not sure on the longevity of this SSD but for now its good. Enjoy the extra space! **UPDATE after 5 months - No issues so far also fun fact the SSD is faster than the in-built SSD**

I bought this SSD for my PS5 and it’s been excellent. It offers great storage for the price, has fast boot times, and the included case keeps it cool inside the console. Games run smoothly at max graphics straight from the SSD with no noticeable drawbacks at all. Definitely a solid upgrade for the PS5.

Bought this to increase the memory on my PS5. I was wary as this was one of the cheaper items available but probably because you have to fit the heatsink yourself. The downside is that it doesn’t come with any instructions on how to assemble and fit the heatsink - so I will try and explain: the box contains the chipset, the base and top of the heatsink and 4 thermal strips - 2 thick and 2 thin. The white ones are the thick ones and the grey one are the thin ones. Fit a white (thick) thermal strip into the base of the heatsink. (Remember to remove the transparent thin protective film from each side of the strips as you progress). Place the chipset on top of this with the chips facing up. Place a grey (thin) thermal strip on top of the chipset. Carefully remove the protective film and then carefully fit the top of the heatsink - this fits by carefully pressing down until it clicks in. Installing into the PS5 was straightforward. The PS5 recognised the new memory when turned on - asked to be formatted which I did - job done. I have now transferred a number of my games onto the memory stick and tried running them with no problems. So would definitely recommend based on the price as it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

I was a bit worried when I ordered the SSD, I know about a lot of scams but even I can be scammed. When I saw the price and how big the storage was a bit off from buying it but I took a chance and was amazed. Well worth the money. And definitely not a scam. Good quality, formats in a ps5 without any trouble, the transfer speed is good too.

Very nice SSD extra 2tb for PS5 Slim Will update on longevity or if any issues arise. Also for those who say it doesn't fit, yes it does you just haven't clicked it in properly, as I initially thought the same. But after pushing it in again you'll feel a slight click as it seats into the socket which then aligns to the screw hole to secure. Performance Read speed was 5120 Transferred 700gb in under 7 Minutes Lets hope it lasts it seems well built. Mine came already built with cooler which saved me the hassle of having to do it myself.
