Portable Eyewash-Station Emergency OSHA-Approved Yeipower - Wall Mounted Eye Wash First Aid 14 Gallon Eye Irrigation Equipment

I got this for my lab as our eye washing station was being repaired. This actually works pretty decently for what you get. It does come with screws if you want to screw this to the wall but it is a bit annoying to remove to refill. It has handlebars so you can pick this up and take it with you. The handles a very durable so it can support the weight of the water and the container. The container is not exactly light so added water does make it pretty heavy. There did not seem to be any airhole or leak which was my first concern of how the water will escape but it sprays out without issue. There is no switch all you need to do is pull the front forward to activate the flow of water. I will not stop until the water runs out or you push the tray back up. You can see the tube when you are using this. It is well connected so there were no leaks or kinks in the line. There is a drain on the bottom of the tray but be aware that it just drains out into the floor. You can use a bucket under it if you want to keep the water from spilling everywhere. In terms of pressure, it is not as strong as eye wash station you may find in a lab. It gets enough distance where you do not have to put your face to the tray but you do have to get close. It reached my eyes and was very thorough in the wash. The lid on top for the most part is solid in case this falls over the water should not spill out. It can be heated if you leave it in the sun for long periods so be away of that if you are using this outside on a hot sunny day. It is not meant to be cold. You should flush it out when you receive it just to rinse it out any particulates. It is pretty easy to fill with the large opening so you do not have to worry about needing a funnel or anything. Only thing is to make sure you are using distilled water if possible to avoid contaminates in the eye. Overall this is a nice wash to have if you need one outside or on the go. It does do the job in rinsing eyes but the pressure is not as strong as an eye washing station you may find in the lab. It does still do a good job regardless. It is easy to use but be aware it is heavy with a full tank of water. The flow of water has not been hindered nor has there been any kind of leak. Also remember the drain just goes out onto the floor when you use this.

There is sufficient water for emergency eye irrigation thanks to the considerable capacity of 14 gallons. They haven't leaked, at least so far. We haven't had to actually use them yet, but they are filled and ready to go.

I hope this GIANT is still OSHA approved with the kitten standing on it!? But seriously this thing is huge!!! Had no idea it was so big. Makes sense because the water creates pressure to allow for the spray to work. Nice to have included brackets so we can put this up in our shop but you can use without too. We needed this to comply and feel relieved we have it now!!

This is invaluable to have around my shop at home. It's super easy to mount and setup. Portable if needed. Should have bought one years ago. Definitely recommend.
