Nice!
This is a nice shower head at a good price. Does it really use less water?

Updated
Updated 6/13,It's been a couple weeks with the shower head, and I feel compelled to raise it's review. The noise it was making is now tolerable. I haven't run out of hot water yet, even in long lazy showers. And rinsing hasn't been bad at all. Had to definitely raise it a star, especially at this price point.I titled the review because this product is just that. It's not exciting. It's not some new revolution in shower technology. It's a shower head. I got this hoping to lower my water and gas bill just a bit, and it does seem like it will do the job. Not without a lot of trade-off though. As for the shower head. It looks nice, but it is much lighter than it looks, because it's completely plastic. As for the shower experience. Well, it's a low flow, and if you have thick hair, the water you saved, may not be saved because you have to add some extra time for a rinse. Getting the soap out of my beard took quite a bit longer. On the plus side...I didn't run out of hot water, and I was ready to get out of the shower before the water ran out(unusual for me). Might have been because it wasn't as comfortable without the high volume of water my very similar looking higher flow shower head provides. The biggest con I have with this shower head...is the noise it makes. With my good water pressure, Instead of just pushing the water out, the whole shower head resonates with a relatively loud mid-range frequency on top of the water noise. I think that was the biggest turnoff, as it was very loud, and relatively obnoxious, and made my shower less enjoyable. On the plus of that, I used much less water I'm sure, as it was still scalding hot before I got out.Not a bad purchase for the price. I'm going to leave it connected for a while, see if I get used to it, and hope the noise goes away, and see if my water/gas bill go down a bit.

Here are the features I like. 1
I was willing to spend $50 on a shower head that performs as well as this. The problem is I could not find one! I looked at several hardware stores, and online trying to find a shower head comparable to this. Here are the features I like.1. It is wide at 4 inches. It's no monster like some of them out there, but that also means it will not strain my pipes from weight either. I think it is the perfect size.2. The holes are spaced well for even coverage. I like a good shower since I get dirty and work hard. For me, this thing provides a pillow of water on my back making me want to stay in the shower forever.3. It saves water. We have the 1.5gpm model and it provides enough water pressure to satisfy my wife. I even installed a shutoff valve just behind the head to save even more water when I take a shower. I can dial it down to .5gpm during my entire shower. Our old head would not even spray water to the halfway point of the tub, but this one goes 3/4 of the way. I am proud to say that my wife does not have to turn it up to full blast anymore, meaning she uses less than 1.5gpm.4. It swivels easily. I get in the shower and point the head all the way up, then turn the flow down to .5gpm. My wife gets in the shower and turns the head down, and the flow up. After a month of this, it still works like the first day.I will try to comment on the longevity of the product in a year or two if I can remember. I can tell you that the mount feels like metal, and the rest of the head is plastic.I recommend this head to anyone wanting to buy a new shower head that makes you feel good not only from being clean, but saving water and money.BTW, the shutoff valve is from ACE and cost $10.

Serious hot water saver!
I was skeptical about such an unknown and low priced shower head, but the reviews all seemed great, and Amazon kept telling me that everyone who looked at all the other expensive showerheads I was browsing ultimately chose this one, so I took a chance. And I'll be ordering a second for the other shower. I am that impressed. We have a growing family and a hot water tank that is rated for 2 people, maybe 3. Certainly not the 4-5 we demand of it. As a result, we were CONSTANTLY running out of hot water. We had to stagger showers through the day, or race through them at record speeds, and even then, all too often I wound up with a faceful of ice water. Not ideal. Our utility room does not have the space to upgrade to a bigger tank, and tankless heater technology does not seem to be viable alternatices for showers yet without a gas heat supply, which we don't have. I felt stuck. But it occurred to me that our showerheads (Moen and Waterpik) were crushing us with buckets of water. I have no idea what the flow rates were, but...it was a lot, and most of that wasnt needed. So I crossed my fingers and jumped headfirst into water saving showerhead research, landing here.Since replacing the showerhead, we have not run out of hot water even once. We have showered much longer, and still no issues. The difference is unbelievable. The power is pretty drastically reduced, but what we had before was very forceful, and what we have now is gentle, but adequate. We live a little bit downhill from a very nearby water tower, so I think water pressure here is pretty good to begin with, which helps. If you're in the fence and are in a similar circumstances, give this a try. It is easily the best purchase I've made in months.

Good rain type shower head.
Good quality and works well. Wife is ok with it as well. We prefer a lityle more pressure and less of a rain head type effect. If you like a rain head this works wonders, if you like pressure this not your shower head.

good pressure, good volume
This is a good unit. it has a swivel in the joint, so you can adjust the position. I replaced a unit that was leaking and was not a low pressure unit. I then tried a low pressure unit, that was too weak. This one is good because it manages to put out enough volume to give a good shower

Not a bad shower head
Not a bad shower head but not enough water pressure vs savings . I have used it about a year now and really have not seen any savings in my water bill it has not got worst either . Good shower head if you don't mind the low water pressure

Showers last way longer
Showers last way longer - my previous shower head felt lovely but used a lot of water. This is definitely a weaker spray, and louder for some reason, but the shower is still effective. It's not going to pressure-wash you, but it should save your water/hot water tank bill.
