Best system out there.
This is by far part of the best heating system you can have. Total control and flexible. It may be a little bit pricey but worth every penny.

Great system when it works but its not very easy to set up properly.
The Honeywell Evohome system lets you set up a zoned heating system for your house, this is the radiator valve controller (actuator) that sits on the radiator valve itself. It replaces a thermostat and needs to work with a thermostatic valve that adjusts the water supply to the radiator depending on temperature. (If you have an old radiator without thermostats, a manual valve, you will need to be able to change out the valve as well as the thermostat). You will need the Evohome central controller THR99C3110 to be able to control the radiators. So why do this? The large advantage is that you can set the controller to operate at different temperatures depending on time of day, for example keep bedrooms warm at night and the living room and kitchen warm during the day (and vice versa). As well as a different time profile for each room, you can set up different ones for different days of the week. When the system is set up correctly, it is great. In my last house, it paid for itself in about a year with reduced heating bills. However, set up is tricky. Here are some lessons I learned.1. There is a 'stroke' setting (item number 6 on the menu on the HR92 interface. The factory default may not work on all valves - on some new Danfoss radiator valves, the HR92 would be closed when the controller thought it was 40% open. You can solve this by changing the stroke setting in the menu.2. The hard copy installation leaflet with the HR92 only covers physical installation. To troubleshoot the controller, you will need to search for a PDF of the full installation manual online.3. There is an app you can download to your iPad. This does not have the full functionality that the controller panel THR99C3110 does, but it does let you adjust the room temperatures and schedules. In summary, it's a great system when it works but its not very easy to set up properly.

It works
Not really sure what the three star gradings 'warmth, thickness & sheerness' really have to do with this product, but it does the job as replacement piece of radiator kit. My problem is with their reliability which is not this suppliers fault. I've been using 12 in my house for 5 years and have had to replace 4 in this time. Very expensive and for reliability would score very low. I'm stuck with them until Honeywell design a better value product.

Expensive but very reliable
Takes a while to initially setup but once you get use to the menu - will take just a couple of minutes. The binding process works very well. I use rechargeable batteries in all my HR92 valves which last between 6 months to one year depending on useage. One of the menu options allows to set battery type which includes normal. Ni Mh and lithium.I use the Ni Mh batterise

It is a fantastic product
Whats not to like, individual control of your homes temperature, room radiator by room radiator. Pity the Controller seems to have a mind of its own.

A bit noisy and is almost 100% plastic
The media could not be loaded. 1. Build quality is not good- The valve looks better in photo than in real. The build quality is very poor considering this is more than £50 per valve, and is not any better than a £20 bluetooth valve which you can get from elsewhere.- The plastic screw ring doesn't fit well in standard valve thread.2. It is noisy when you have EvoHome for the entire hosue- The Evohome valve is quiet on its own (watch my video), but because it takes so long to adjust to the target temperature, you can imagine what would happen when you have a schedule to turn them on all at once - it'd like a symphony for 1 minute!- Also, because the length of its operation, it woke me up early in the morning!

Not reliable enough or built well enough to justify price
These are good but we’ve had several fail after not much use compounded by Honeywell were not keen on replacing and at that price of purchase it’s been a lot of expensive waste.
