JBL660nc has all the features I expected. The sound from my mp3 player sounds great, it paired easily and is very easy to use.

I’ve used noise canceling headphones for ages, when I fly & even when I go to the theater. Over time I’ve upgraded a bit, but this week I found a deal on some JBLs and I couldn’t pass them up (not their most expensive, more a mid-price, but a very nice upgrade for me). Anyway. I’m in my backyard listening to Dark Side of the Moon and can’t even hear the wind chimes next to me! These will get a lot of use, and of course will come on every trip! The one thing that could make them better is when they’re used with the cable (I’m not a Bluetooth fan) that the controls worked. I’m not sure why JBL chose to bypass those.

I wasnt expecting an amazing sound quality from these and it wasnt. The pairing is annoying and instructions are not quite accurate but i was able to pair it with my laptop and phone. I tried to have a call with someone through them and the other person said i sounded like a robot/tingy. Didnt buy them for that, but it was an interesting experiment. Bought to replace my el-cheapo sony wired ones that finally fell apart. Why does all the soft leather just melt after a few years? Anyhow, they are relatively light on the ears, they do sit on top(not around), so if you dont like that, these are not for you. I dont mind. Sound was loud enough to ignore others in the room, noise cancelling was one of the selling factors for me( e.g. airplanes ). Love the color. Wish they came with a carry bag for long term storage. I used them for hours at a time, so no issues with battery life that i can tell yet. You can also flip over to wired if you want( a plus ). The EXTREMELY short charging cable is sketch ( and orange?! Guess you wont lose it? ).
