I wanted to use the cargo divider as a bed extender since I finally got my RAM after seeing it YEARS ago.... But when I finally got my RAM with the RAMBox, it didn't have the hookups to do so. Weird since it is still in the divider and even has the mounting points in the bed. Got this and installed it in less than 30 minutes while using 1 arm. (injury to primary shoulder) Installed easily and works perfectly!

Ok quality. Took a look on YouTube for install instructions. Took a bit of force to bolt them into place, the spring isn’t super secure but when the tail gate extension is fitted and in place it’s secure and isn’t going anywhere.

YouTube video ——> I was initially let down when I saw my 2023 RAM 1500 new style didn’t come with the knobs and that Mopar needed $250. These are likely not the same material quality but honestly I can’t tell the difference and I won’t be holding back a bank vault when using the diverse as an extension. You need LocTite. Picture shows loctite already applied but the shipped product doesn’t have any. They will come loose over time if you don’t apply any. Hope the video helps.
