My son doesn't store iron well so his doctor prescribed an iron supplement. Problem was, my son hated the taste of all of the supplements on the market, and they were rough on his tummy. This one, however, is amazing. It's flavor-free and can be mixed into water (or anything else), and it's super gentle on his system. He has to take 3x the normal amount (prescribed by doctor) and it doesn't bother his tummy at all!

I am buying this again! I bought for my aunt's first boy and now I am buying this for her second baby boy! The same products I bought from store was $30 per bottle, Amazon is cheaper!!! I personally trust this brand, since it is made in USA and it is cGMP certified. For baby products you don't want to sacrifice quality for cheaper price. Each box comes with a dropper, and there's scale mark on the dropper, therefore it is easy to control the amount of usage. I was helping my aunt babysitting her first boy, he was 1 year. The dropper is easy to use and this liquid nutrition blend well with any food. Regarding to the flavor, I tried by myself the liquid nutrition has a fish oil taste, but after blended with food/milk, the 1 year old didn't even notice. At least, my baby cousin had no problem to eat this nutrition.

My sons doctor suggested a daily iron supplement and it's hard for me to get my son to take a pill, so this worked perfect. I came to realize that it puts him to sleep as well, so I only give him his dose at night he gladly takes it.

This stuff is great mixed into food...the flavor is not too strong, but it definitely helps! I can give this to my baby straight, there is no nasty metallic taste I was expecting.

I use this supplement and I also add it to my senior dog's breakfast and dinner but in a smaller amount based on his weight. I will keep my subscribe and save for this brand of iron again because I read the Chelated iron is supposedly the better type for absorption and reduced gastrointestinal side effects.

This product has done wonders for my autistic son. We needed a good liquid iron supplement, to mix with his juice. We noticed before we started using it, he would scratch at his legs at night and constantly move them, he had trouble sleeping. About 1.5 weeks after using the recommended dosage, the leg issues stopped and he’s sleeping a lot better!

The pros of this iron supplement is it uses a form of iron that has good bioavailability that’s supposed to cause less Gi upset, it’s third party tested which was important to me, and doesn’t have any artificial sweeteners or thickeners. Unfortunately, this had a metallic taste and smell my baby (and myself) didn’t enjoy. We might be sensitive to the smell of the iron but we will be trying other brands. If the smell doesn’t bother you then it’s a good product!

My 6mo daughter will actually take this!!! She has spat out all the other iron supplements. My trick is to get her started on breastfeeding for a few minutes, get her cozy, then unlatch her and sneak a dropperful into her mouth and she sucks the medicine out of the dropper. Then I immediately return her to the breast to finish and she is happy. Very successful with this supplement. I am hoping to also see improvements on her labs as well.
