works great
Used with a small single burner coleman camp stove to block the wind. It folds and unfolds easily and is very compact. It did a great job of block the wind so the burner had an easier time boiling a kettle of water. Great product and I would buy it again.

I like the larger size which works well to wrap around ...
This does exactly what it's supposed to do. I like the larger size which works well to wrap around my portable butane stove. I actually store it in the hardshell plastic case that my stove came in, so they are always together. Probably too big if you were using it for backpacking or with a smaller stove. Good for car camping though, and I often set up my portable stove in my Weber grill when i want to sear a steak or blacken something over high heat without filling my entire house with a fog of airborne grease. If it's windy, I use this screen set up right at the outside edge of the grill. For a 22" kettle grill, this makes a decent 180 degree wind protection.

Works great... just a bit heavy.
Bought this for backpacking trips. This screen does exactly what it is supposed to do... it's just kinda heavy. I don't know what I was expecting. The weight's listed right there the description. Regardless, when I first picked it up I thought, "Damn, that's heavy". I probably won't be using it much because I'm trying to cut down my pack weight... but at least it's good and sturdy, right?

Windshield looked fine, but it came with the drawstring button of the bag broken. I just wanted to replace the bag, but I didn't find any option for that. I returned the product and reordered the same one. I hope it would come with everything fine.

Great windshield
about 9.4 inches tall, about 32.8 inches wide. Each plate is about 3.1 inches wide. Made from aluminium. Shipped in simple bubble wrap shipping envelope. Some of the plates were slightly bent nothing I got excited over. It will work great with my MSR Whisperlite stove. Because of the design you can always remove plates to make it smaller or buy two to make one bigger windscreen. The travel bag was big enough to put the base heat reflector that came with my stove. This sure beats the windscreen that came with my MSR stove. This is exactly what I was hoping to find. A great buy.

Too short and wind blows them over.
They aren’t tall enough and the wind blows them right over.

Wind Wizard
Tall enough for a gas stove and perfect for an alcohol one. I am tired of fussing with aluminum foil, searching around for slabs of tree bark or the like, or setting up behind a log and still have wind problems. This thing is strong and nicely made to fold up easily. You can easily put a billy can or tea pot on top of it. Warning: if you are a backpacker this thing is not light-- some kind of steel, not aluminum. You don't have to worry much about bending it.

Always handy to have one of these.
Speeds up boiling time really well.Used this around a JetBoil MiniMo at over 9,000'; and even with not much wind blowing, it makes a big difference. Easily wrapped around the JB with plenty of room to work with the stove if necessary.Packs small in its own bag and is a great addition to any campsite where you're cooking around a small heat source. If you're going to make your own fire with a striker, cotton, small tinder, etc., this is also a great way to keep it all from blowing around too much until you get things going.Lots of uses for the size and weight - which isn't much.

I does the job
Plenty tall enough to cover my gas burner and pot/kettle. Water boils super fast since i started using it. No need for jet boil, but with a pot of that style it would boil super fast I imagine. It is actually long enough to surround two burners at the same time.

Great size and lightweight
Plenty of size for a decent size stove/mini fire pit

Works a treat
Great little wind break for our single ring gas cooker. Kettle boiled in about a quarter of the time and the gas didn't blow out at all.
