My 8 year old is now into chapter books, and also loves art! These watercolor bookmarks were a hit! She gets the bookmarks she needs and a fun side quest! I had to walk her through folding the perforated edge back and forth a few times, so the watercolor palette side will tare off evenly, and even that was a cinch! Great project on the go. Paper is thick, putting a heavy book on them after paint dries flattens them right out. Works just as described. Size just as listed.

This mess-free paint set has been an absolute game changer in our house. With toddlers, I’m always bracing myself for stained clothes, colorful hands, and paint somehow ending up on the walls, but not with this! The colors show up beautifully on the special paper, yet somehow don’t transfer onto little fingers, clothes, or furniture. It gives them the full painting experience without the stress for mom. A cute kit that is great for travel. The paper is of a nice thickness but it's not the most expensive out there. It's definitely more for hobbyists and those wanting to practice watercolor without too much of the mess. The colors are beautiful but some are not the most vibrant which again for the cost and type of kit this is, I'm still rather impressed with. All in all it's been great for small coloring on the go and nothing too art heavy.

My 3 year old loves this! As a mom I also love that it’s much less messy than letting him use regular paints. If and when he finishes this book, I’d definitely consider getting another one if he still likes it by then!

Granddaughters 4 and 7 years old love these, and we do too. We cut off the paints and use markers as they look even better with markers. Fun gift for kids to give to relatives and friends.

Nice little book. Paintbrush is inside the back cover. Paints are on the side of each page and extra paint pages on the back. You can hold it in your hand or rip the psges out and work on them whereever you like. I'm using it to get reacquainted with watercolors. I haven't painted with watercolors in about 35 years. I'm having fun. This little book has inspired me. I'll eventually take pencil to paper and create my own drawings, but this is getting me started. I did buy a set of additional watercolor paints and brushes.

Fun to work on with the grandkids. Easy art to keep then interested and to paint.

Very convenient. The paint is less grainy than I had expected. The water pen gushes too much water, so I suggest using a better quality one if you have it available. Size is great. Paper warps. Not enough color variation to properly do what I might want, but it works.
