Looks great and wasen't too hard
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)This is a great LEGO-style set! The HIGH GODO Japan Street Mini Takoyaki Shop is a fun and creative project. The pieces are small, so it can be a bit tricky if you’re not used to working with tiny parts, but the overall build is rewarding. It's a relatively small project, but it comes together beautifully and looks great on display.Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys detailed builds or wants to add a unique piece to their collection!

Fun build
So much fun to do and absolutely adorable. No missing pieces. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I will be purchasing more sets from this company.

Excellent quality
Very detailed instructions, all pieces included, looks great. I was a bit hesitant to purchase a non Lego set but this really nailed it. The detail is amazing and the instructions were very detailed and concise.

JAPANESE STREET VENDOR BUILDING BLOCKS
This set was a lot of fun for my granddaughter. She is autistic and needs small things like this to help improve her dexterity. For some reason, she is very attached to the Japanese culture and has learned some language, so I thought she would especially like this set. When she opened it, she took very good care to look at everything on the box and thoroughly enjoyed putting it together.

Cute little set, but not without frustrations
I really enjoyed this miniature set, coming from full-scale LEGO sets. The cart itself is adorable and I love the small size; it’s really gotten me into mini building sets! However there are some frustrations to be aware of going into things:- The parts come in numbered bags, but it quickly became obvious that’s just because LEGO uses numbered bags. Unlike LEGO, the numbers here don’t actually correspond to anything, some numbers are skipped, and the very first part of the building sheet involved parts from bags “1” (not numbered) and something like bag 7. You WILL need to just dump and sort/count everything. Bead/embroidery floss sorting boxes help.- Yes, the instruction sheet. There’s no booklet for the takoyaki set, just one very large double-sided sheet. The placement of the steps gets confusing at times, too, so if something doesn’t make sense, make sure you didn’t miss a weirdly choreographed step. As mentioned before, there’s no “this section uses bag 5” designation. You’ll be grabbing parts from across the bags constantly.- The tolerance on parts is really inconsistent. Sometimes they’ll fit together very tightly, other times the fit is extremely loose. This is a problem when you need to insert a piece that grips a pole holding the cart sign, for instance; I had issues with the weight of the sign pulling one side of it loose until I shuffled pieces around. Check every piece and choose the ones that have the tightest fit for spots that need it.- The stickers are very thick and not very flexible, or very sticky. This is fine for most parts, which are flat or only slightly curved, and lets you fiddle with placement a tiny bit. However the stickers DO NOT stay stuck to the lanterns, at all. They almost immediately lift, and often fall off. I would suggest trimming excess to get them as small as possible before sticking them on, or scanning them and creating your own decals on better material.- The extra parts are plentiful, but frequently there aren’t any spares for really important parts that should have an extra just in case. Definitely keep track of stuff.- The silver plastic tube that you have to trim and bend around the cart, clipping it into place, is pretty stiff and doesn’t like staying put. Save it for the end, when you get to the step that helps anchor the ends (a little bit). Otherwise you’ll be putting it back constantly. All that said, it’s still a great little set and I had a lot of fun putting it together! I’d recommend it if you’re comfortable following sheet diagrams that aren’t always laid out well, and don’t have arthritis in your fingers — the pieces that fit tightly, fit VERY tightly!

Missing Pieces
Missing a few pieces but still tried to make it work. The bumble be wasn’t very sturdy so we had to glue it onto the set. Overall super cute, but wish we would have had all the pieces.

Looks great, fun build
If you also hate a certain big brand's prices, this is awesome bang for your buck. Takes a while to build, but is very worth it. The plastic quality isn't perfect but you get what you pay for
