HYDRATE OR DIEDRATE, am i rite?
The Cat Water Fountain Stainless Steel has been a fantastic addition to my home, providing my cats with fresh and filtered water around the clock. One of the standout features of this fountain is its stainless steel construction. Not only does it look sleek and modern, but it also ensures durability and hygiene. Unlike plastic fountains that can harbor bacteria and odors, the stainless steel material is easy to clean and helps to maintain water freshness. The capacity of 108 ounces (3.2 liters) is ample for multiple cats or larger breeds, ensuring that there's always enough water available. The continuous flow of water encourages my cats to drink more, which is essential for their overall health and hydration. Setting up the fountain was straightforward, and I appreciated the quiet operation. The pump runs silently, without disturbing my cats or me, even when running continuously. This has been a significant improvement over previous fountains that were noisier and less efficient. The filtration system is another highlight. It includes a replaceable carbon filter that effectively removes impurities and debris from the water, ensuring it remains clean and fresh. This gives me peace of mind knowing that my cats are drinking water that is free from contaminants. Maintenance is hassle-free as well. The fountain disassembles easily for cleaning, and the stainless steel surface wipes clean effortlessly. Regular cleaning and filter replacement are simple tasks that contribute to the fountain's longevity and performance. In conclusion, the Cat Water Fountain Stainless Steel has exceeded my expectations with its quality construction, quiet operation, efficient filtration, and capacity. It's an excellent choice for any cat owner looking to provide their pets with a constant supply of fresh, clean water in a stylish and durable fountain.

I would highly recommend!
For about a month I've had issues with my cat vomiting. And I've been trying to rule out anything before I decide to take them to a vet. First I changed their food to completely stomach sensitive Hills Science cat food, then I got the larger tilting balls that supposedly help them eat their food easier, and lastly I need a water filter to make sure they're water was extra clean as I usually used to keep their water in just a big bowl. I always have issue with that bowl getting covered with dirt, cat litter and at hair making me have to change it everyday This water felt new makes things a lot easier. It took a minute for my cats to get used to it as my kitten legit stoodnthere looking at the water for 2 hours before realizing it was a trick to give her a bath 🤣🤣 Since getting this I noticed that both of my cats drink a lot more water. Mostly cause the water I use is already filtered as well. Filter twice actually. Was a filter under my sink and there's a filter on faucet just to make sure the water is extra clean then it goes to a third filter once I put it in The fountain so the water is super clean. Since I've done all these changes (I also put two air filters in our apartment one near the litter box and one in living room) they aren't vomiting anymore, in those lot of things were involved to stop that One of the things I believe would really help was having able to drink fresh clean water. Now,;Everyone I know it's says to change it every two weeks but after just one week the water was getting low in the filter was getting dirty there's no way I'm going to wait two weeks for this thing to look even nastier. With that said the filters are very affordable at like $13 and with eight of them that's about a month's worth of replacements already and it is well worth the money. Highly recommend you change the filter once a week to prevent any build up. I have not had any problem with it breaking or messing up, Will update if anything else happens. PS. It is very quiet and it actually kind of helps me sleep because it makes it sound like a small waterfall is in my house when I sleep very relaxing 😌

Never buying again
I had made a review for this when first ordered about 4-5 months ago and wrote a positive review. Honestly, I had to come back to follow up, because this is the worst water fountain I’ve ever gotten my cat. 1. We have hard water. We have a multi-process reverse osmosis system, but originally, we thought the hard water was why this thing was so nasty after two to three days.. it’s not. This COLLECTS gunk immediately due to the filters, the inability to take apart the entire thing, and the toxic plastic on the inside. 2. The filters are garbage. “Multi-layered filters”? NO. Open the filter up and look inside before you hand this thing to your loved animals. It’s cheap and ONLY filters big things like hair. (Does not filter out small gnats/bugs, gunk, or bad water. 3. There are WAY too many nooks and crannies that you literally would have to take apart with a screw driver to get under, or simply CANNOT get under. There is really no way to have it 100% clean all the time (even if you clean it every day or every WEEK). At first, we cleaned ours every 5-7 days. It suggests filter changes every 2-4 WEEKS. THAT’S NOT what we’ve experienced. This appears dangerous to the cats immune system. We were DEEP cleaning and changing the water of ours daily until we gave up and decided a shallow bowl of water in a NATURAL material bowl was safer, cleaner, and more functional. 3. THE SPOUT/mechanics: there is a plastic piece that runs the water up through a metal spout. The spout itself comes off but the plastic piece is NOT able to be taken apart. It is absolutely disgusting. We have tried everything to clean it properly, and it’s physically impossible (you’d have to buy a new one, which seems like a massive money funnel for no reason). 4. I’m going to trash this anyways, so we’re getting it tested to investigate the level/grade of “steel”, but regardless, the plastic pieces on the inside defeat the purpose of trying to stay with healthy materials. Overall, I would NOT recommend this. Unless you plan to toss it after one month (specifically and ONLY if you’re using it for a short term travel plan).. Sure you can refill it and leave it if you don’t care about the health of your animal, but I would never ever use this again. Hope this helps.

Well worth the extra for the window
So I don't usual praise a product until I've really put it trough the ringer or had it for a while. Also anyone who has cars, knows cats don't always like new, and especially new their owners like. But surprise, surprise, surprise, as Goober used to say. So we had a plastic water fountain for years and got really tired of the biofilm and yuck that was hard to clean and made for throwing out lots of expensive filtters. It was noisy and the cats made a mess when they got watter on their noses from the flower part that dumped water. One day I was cleaning it and gave up. Much to my surprise, Amazon came to the rescue again. Stainless steel does not promote biofilm like plastic. This thing is nearly silent, the filters are much smaller and their is also a screen to keep the pump from clogging up, and the biggest surprise was the cats walked right over, shared the fountain (a miracle in itself) and drank the longest drink I have ever seen them drink. Things you won't get from the listing are :they come with 6 sets of filters and screens, the pump has a 2 year warranty, see the picture, and the window really works. I was worried that it might leak or that you wouldn't see the level in the dark bowl. Well surprise again, there is a light in the bowl and you can see the level from the other side of the room. As far as a leak around the window seal, I was really impressed with how well it was made and sealed. But I suppose we should probably stay tuned, but it would surprise me if it leaked. I rarely praise a product, and if one has issues, I'm the guy to call them out. But I really like this, and surprise, so do the cats!

Gentle Currents for a Feline Companion
In the quiet hours of dawn, I set before my cat the SOOFPET Cat Water Fountain of polished stainless steel, its 108-ounce reservoir a miniature lake, glistening like moonlight upon a mountain stream. The flowing water whispers softly, inviting even the most aloof of felines to pause, to drink deeply, and to remember the simple pleasures of life. Its design is elegant, reflecting the serenity of nature while serving a purpose both practical and noble. Yet, perfection is never without its minor flaws. The fountain requires careful cleaning, and the hum of the pump, though gentle, is occasionally a reminder of human artifice intruding upon natural grace. Still, my companion drinks with renewed vigor, and the water flows steadily, pure and cool. Four stars are fitting, for it brings both utility and a touch of poetic serenity to the domestic sphere, though one cannot help but sense that even the quietest stream can be improved with attentive care.

Excellent Purchase! A great idea and my cats love it.
This is one of my best purchases!! My cats love the water fountain and I see them drinking from it all the time. One prefers at times to dip his paw in it and lick his paw. I bought this in early 2023 and recently bought a 2nd motor on it, but it was my own fault that I dropped the first motor from the counter. I love that parts are easily replaceable and you don't have to buy a brand new fountain when a motor breaks. Cleaning is also very easy (I recommend a flexible straw brush for the fountain neck), as it all just breaks down to the individual parts and everything can be scrubbed or soaked if you prefer, and put back together in a minute. The filters go in easily too. With three cats, I personally rinse the filters every two weeks and then change them every month. The stainless steel looks nice in my kitchen. I also like how much it holds. With three cats, I don't have to constantly add water to it. It makes a slight trickle noise when the water is running low, so that alerts me to pour more water in. I pour it right on top and it cycles through so there is no need to remove the lid to add water. Overall, very good purchase and I highly recommend it.

Water pump died after 18 months
The water pump stopped working after only a year and a half of use. I emailed the contact listed on the fountain (says to contact for replacement pump) a few weeks ago and reached out to Amazon customer service, however, I have not heard back. Otherwise, the fountain was great and my cat loved it. However, it is useless now.

Water flowing is good!
Must be diligent to check and clean the pump and filters. I noticed ick factor after a few days. Otherwise, I know flowing water is better than stagnant. We like the sound of the moving water.
