Lost Utopias: Photographs by Jade Doskow Hardcover – Download: Adobe Reader, November 8, 2016

I was excited to see the photos in this book as a "remains and ruins" retrospective from past World's Fairs. But with some exceptions, most of the photos were taken from varying existing perspectives. They're technically proficient and in many cases quite lovely, but it wasn't very revealing about the "lost utopias" of fairs past. Most of the photo perspectives you can view from Google Earth or street view (although certainly not photography quality). There are some gems in the book -- the forlorn Brussel's1897 Human Passion Pavilion for example, but overall is a disappointment.

Great pictures! Clearly some of these buildings and places have aged better than others.
