Love the size but the count is not accurate
The digital counter is not very accurate, but I do love the size of it as it can hold a nice amount of money for your little ones :)

Proteam Digital Coin Counter.
I do seem to find myself with loads of coins.I fish them out of pockets, chairs, sofas etc.,I saw this product listed on AMAZON a few weeks ago and placed an order straight away.It works well for limited periods, but any faultering with the coin's insertion and the electronics take fright and you finish up with a zero reading. It is clear evidence of my sweet nature that it did'nt get bounced of the nearest living room wall.I will only count small amounts in it at a time in future.I would recommend giving it as a gift to someone you don't much like.Guaranteed anger and frustraton abounding. To be fair,it might just be a case of getting to know the jar's foibles, but for this impatient soul, it brought out the worst in me.

Not Bad. Not bad at all!
Right, so, first things first. I've read the reviews of the product, and having now bought one to start stashing my change against the purchase of a new PC at work, i'll be the first to say that it's neither exceeded, nor undercut or undermined, my expectations.I'll try and update this review with factual information only in future if i can or if i need to, so the salient points are as follows:I won't be trying to insert any 50p coins any longer. They simply register as £2 coins. I transmute any lesser gold I have into £1 coins or £2 coins (the genuine article).10p coins also seem to be suffering a similar fate. They register occasionally as either one or two pound coins. The mechanism has limitations. If you're hoping for an all-seeing device which is capable of identifying each nickel or dime you send through the slot, this isn't the machine for you. It needs a bit of help, which is okay. From your own side, identifying these flaws in the product will help you in terms of determining which coins do well in terms of passing through the slot, and which don't.The actual watercooler container which houses your change is not bad. It's a bit smaller than i had imagined, but i'm fairly sure it's going to do the trick in terms of saving enough loot for a new workhorse machine. I believe the reset on the Digital Display is something like £9,999. So I'm guessing that the manufacturers are hoping, or may have tested the fact, that the cargo hold will indeed keep a solid wad of coinage intact up until the point that you reach a sound 10k.That's about it for now. Just keep an eye on what you're putting in there, as the digital device needs a bit of work to get things just right. I'll give this the four stars, because i was well aware of the limitations of the machine when i bought it. Not disappointing, but not mind-blowingly satisfactory, either.

Great gadget
Bought this product for my Dad who has always collected pennies in an old glass jar. He thought this product was a great idea! Great size, easy to use. Only downside is that if you take coins out it doesn't effect the total so you wouldn't have an accurate reading but I suppose that's a good incentive to not dip in and take a few coppers now and again!

Digital Coin Counter
This is useless as I cannot open the battery compartment. This is obviously a design fault which should be rectified. I need a replacement jar either complete with batteries or with an openable battery compartment. This one has a very small Phillips screw which is impossible to unscrew to open the battery compartment.

A useful product
Late review here. This saving tin is still going strong on the original battery that was fitted. Easy to see just how much you have saved. A great product and would recommend.

Money box
I'm up to £36 so far so I consider it's a good product, pity it hasn't a lock on it, cos the kids still get in it. Last count was. £23' bloody kids
