Surprisingly these good quality crochet hooks doesn't give me and hand pain. The grips do make a difference and I would recommend it if you just can't stop crocheting in the late hours of the night. I like a good compact grippy hook. I'm hoping to complete a set of these.

These are my favorite go-to crochet hooks. I love the inline shape and they glide smoothly on all types of yarn, making crochet enjoyable and easy. The ergonomic handles are soft on my hands, and the length of the exposed aluminum hook is longer than the cheaper tapered hooks I've seen, which is perfect. I really like that the hooks themselves are color-coded by size.

I am not someone who crochets quickly or in a particularly fluid motion. Lately I’ve been experimenting with higher quality hooks to see if it improves my experience and increases my speed at all. I have been making amigurumi using some rather rough yarn that has a tendency to separate. I was very impressed with the way these hooks feel in my hand and how they handle a lower quality yarn. I use the knife grip and thought the length of these hooks might be awkward to manage, but that has not been the case. I like the in-line style, especially when decreasing stitches. While I love my Clover Amour hooks, I want to continue to experiment with these hooks because I think they may be a better choice for certain projects or specific kinds of yarn—and the price is outstanding!

I love these hooks and was buying them at Joann's. The handles were a softer rubber, these feel very hard. It a different handle design than my previous ones.

This is my first time getting and using Susan Bates hooks. They are fabulous, they took time to get here, but well worth the wait. Would definitely recommend.

Completes a set of different sizes with others bought as needed. Good colours for id, but the hook edges are way too sharp & can split the yarn. easily remedied with a bit of careful filing…. Good shape for regular gauge for me for a good crochet result.
