I work outdoors in the south and I gotta say that this hat is a must have. Now that I’ve had it, I can’t imagine working a day without it. The full brim and neck shades do wonders for keeping the sun out of my eyes and off my neck. You don’t realize how much sun seeps in from the sides of a ball cap until you’ve worn a full brimmed hat. Additionally, the material that the hat is made of is very light weight and breathable. The hat is adjustable to different head sizes and has an adjustable neck strap to keep the hat on you in the wind. The hat is also very good at keeping rain and snow out of your eyes and off of your face. The removable front shield is breathable around the nose which helps to prevent glasses from fogging but it doesn’t do much for keeping your nose warm in the winter. For me that’s not a big issue because I use other products to keep my face warm but for some people that might be an issue. 11/10 would recommend to anyone who spends a lot of time outside.

I have a much more expensive version of this hat, from a big name brand, and I like this one just fine for my purposes. That is, the brim on this hat isn't going going to be perfectly flat or retain its shape - it isn't going to be "pretty". But....for a bang-around hat, one that can be folded up and carried around, this hat works great. It fits well, can be adjusted with a draw string, is comfortable to wear, and I can beat the crap out of it and not care, because the price is so low.In summary: nice hat - I like it, and it's perfect for my intended use.

The hat is beautiful. The adjustable headband allows a perfect fit, even for my xL head. The chin strap is comfortable and slides smoothly. I really appreciate the face veil. however, it was damaged by having been folded in half for shipment. Had the brim been soft and floppy, it would have come out fine, but the brim is stiff and the bends cannot be straightened. I tried spraying it with wrinkle release and laying it flat to dry. I tried ironing. The creases are still as pronounced as when I first removed the hat from it's mailer. I would be delighted if I could receive a replacement shipped in a suitably sized carton. Amazon's phone rep. said she'd put in a request that the hat should be shipped flat, but as the packaging is done by machine, she couldn't guarantee success. I'll post an update when the replacement arrives.

Good quality and a must have in the sun. The hat is vented so you don't have to worry about your head getting hot. Stick one of those cooling caps on under this and you can work for hours in the heat.

Excellent protection and comfort. I bought this hat to protect myself from the sun during my walks in Cartagena, and it has exceeded my expectations. The material is lightweight and breathable, making it perfect for hot climates. The wide brim and the neck flap provide full sun protection.

The price point of any product usually dictates the quality level and this hat is no exception. However, while it does not compare to a Tilley, it's not supposed to. It is a basic, cheap hat that gives you plenty of shade. But I don't like how the cinch cord adjusts.I have an average size head (22 1/4) and it is loose on me and requires maximum adjustment. This causes the rear area of the brim to crinkle and become wavy instead of staying flat. The crown is way too tall unless you wear your hat below your ears.It did arrive folded and creased but after a wash and time in the sun it seems to be better. I purchased this hat to travel and had 2 goals: Maximum sun protection and minimum cost in case it gets lost or damaged.If you want something fashionable keep looking but this is a good basic sun hat.

Perfect fit, nice material, does the job.

Not a big a hat guy, but after a couple of pre-cancerous spots found, looking for protection options. This hat is light and protective with a chin strap. Also relatively cheap. Fit is adjustable so all good so far!
