Awesome Toy Truck – My Son Can’t Get Enough! I bought this RAM 1500 pickup truck toy for my son, and it’s been a huge hit! He loves everything about it – from the realistic design to the lights and sounds that make it feel like a real truck. The pull-back action is such a fun bonus. He enjoys watching it zoom across the floor, and it’s kept him entertained for hours. The build quality is sturdy enough to handle his enthusiastic play, and the details on the truck are fantastic. Really impressed by this thing. It says it's die-cast metal, but there's still a lot of plastic. I had to use a magnet to see what's metal and what's not. The plastic parts are solid enough that it's hard to tell. But honestly, I don't know ow long it will hold up to my three-year-old nephew. He'll love it, but I doubt it will survive a good fall or a drop (or a throw! LOL) I guess we'll see. The first things that I noticed when I got it out of the box were the tires. They feel like rubber! They have an off-road like tread that even makes them "hum" a little on the right surface! The attention to detail on the design is really nice, too. For the reviewers that says it's smaller than they expected, here's a tip. It's 1:32 scale - the box says 1:28 but the listing says 1:32. (1:28 is bigger than 1:32 BTW) That means 1" = 2'-8". The truck is 7 inches long, which would equate to an 18'-8" long truck, so it's just about right as advertised. It's difficult to find a well-made toy, but this looks like a winner to me. My wife asked why I didn't order one for me. She didn't have to ask twice! Ordered!
