The best omega 3 product in my opinion
After becoming a vegetarian, I knew it was important that I supplement with a vegan omega 3. I had previously been a vegetarian but did not supplement and as a result I was always feeling lightheaded and getting sick, which made me realize that something was off since I NEVER get sick. As a result I gave up being a vegetarian and my problems went away... but I was not happy so I started doing research and decided to try this vegan omega 3 supplement so that I could go back to being a vegetarian. Fast forward to me taking this product consistently for about 7 months and I can tell that it has had the intended benefit of supplying my body with the dpa/eha that my body needs. I never feel lightheaded and I have not gotten sick at all like I did in the past when I was not supplementing with omega 3. I take this twice a week if I am otherwise consuming plenty of nuts and seeds, but when I don't feel like I'm getting enough omega 3 from nuts and seeds then I drink this 4 times a week and it has been working out great for me. I chose this product because after a lot of research, I saw that it had the highest amount of dpa/eha per serving compared to other supplements. I will admit that, like another reviewer said, you are only getting 40 ml of algal oil in a 200 ml bottle. However, it does not bother me because I am seeing the positive effects that this supplement is having for me. The taste of this oil is pleasant. Yes, it is oily, after all, it is an oil. However, it is not fishy or disgusting at all. It has a slight orange taste and upon consumption it tastes like orange. The first few times that I consumed it, I did have orange burps but after my body got used to it, it no longer became a problem for me. As the bottle says, shake it before each use. I was lazy and did not shake it, and so after I was almost done with my first bottle I ended up with an extremely sugary serving each time which was not pleasant, but it was a lesson learned. I will keep buying this supplement because it works for me.

GREAT product & Tastes ok.
I was on the hunt for a great VEGAN Omega 3 supplement. After tons of research I settled on this one - Nature's Way NutraVege Omega-3 Plant Liguid -Orange Flavored. When it arrived my first "taste test" was a bit tentative, since I'd read the reviews with so many people complaining of a "fishy/oily" taste. So I proceeded slowly. Smelled it, and surprisingly it smelled nice. Like oranges. Yes, I KNOW it said "Orange Flavored" on the bottle....I don't know what I was expecting, but this just smelled nice...nice enough to make me WANT to try it. So I tried 1/2 tsp full and I was PLEASANTLY surprised. Yes, it's a bit oily....but not more than regular fish oil....and in my opinion does NOT actually taste like fish (as reported by some) To me it's just a tad bit oily, and tastes like nothing and smells really lovely. So all in all, NOT bad....and best of all I'm getting the Omega 3's that I need... Best of all based on all my research this seems to be a quality product. Sure, there are Omegas on the market that taste surgary sweet with zero oil taste, but if you look at exactly how much DHA etc are in them...it's not much. Those are basically a sugar gummy with a tad of Omegas added. If you want a REAL Omega 3 supplement then I highly recommend this brand. And FYI I'm not associated with this company in any way (LOL). I'm just happy I found a really great product after so much research and so just figured I'd leave a reviews for those still searching for just the right thing for them.

Critical for vegetarians, ethical, tastes good.
This oil has been great for my 11 yo daughter! She is just learning to swallow pills, so taking fish-oil size pills is way too much. She says the taste is surprisingly good. We’ve tried a lot of products. EPA and DHA are extremely hard for all Americans to get and especially hard for vegetarians. The other omega 3s are difficult for all Americans and even moreso for vegetarians, but DHA and EPA are both critical for health and so incredibly difficult to get in a healthy diet since algae oil and salmon are two of the only quality sources of these types of omega 3s. Since using omega 3 oils, my hair has quadrupled in thickness to the point where people have commented on how much thicker it looks. My hair breaks a lot less, almost not at all. And my split ends have diminished considerably. Downside: hair everywhere else is also grows thick and fast, even though it had been thinning for years. This oil in a bottle is also a lot cheaper than the gel caps, though I prefer those for myself because of the ease of taking them. However, for my daughter, this oil is PERFECT!

Awesome for Pregnancy, Preggo Approved
I saw my prenatal had abysmal quantities of DHA and EPA in it and wanted to add an additional supplement to address it. I tried a fish oil pill and (gag) quickly learned it was not going to work for me. This tastes like a mild oil and smells like whatever flavor you order -- I've had the Strawberry/Orange and the Lemon flavors, both are fine so I suggest you get whichever flavor is cheaper. I do not detect any fishiness in this whatsoever and it's easy to take with a sensitive palette and nose. I used a teaspoon for a while but now I just grab a little swig straight from the bottle in the fridge when needed. No gross fish burps. I'm going to keep buying it.

Great flavor when added to food, bad taste when taking alone.
This has become one of my most favorite supplements ever. We don't do well with fish oil around here. My kids hate it, I hate it, and no matter the brand or quality, we always end up stinking. When I saw this, I was so excited that we could get the same benefits from a vegan source. Something that's really important to know, however, is that if you take it alone, it has an awful taste. If you mix it into yogurt or a smoothie, it enhances the flavor of the food so greatly that my kids tell me it tastes like Orange Julius. Taken alone, it's bitter and my kids asked if they could spit it out. Put into a smoothie, it's absolutely delicious.

Has toxic seed oil sunflower oil
I was happy that the vegan Omega 3 has a drinkable version for kids that can't take capsules. However, it has sunflower oil, which is a toxic oil like these others: vegetable oil, soy, grape seed, cotton seed, corn, rice bran, and canola oil. We should not consume these and especially give them to kids because these toxic oils are known to cause obesity, inflammatory reactions, gut inflammation from too much omega 6 found in processed foods, contains higher levels of deuterium which speeds aging of cells, and have solvents used during refining. Due to the highly processed nature, they have solvents and are highly oxidized and toxic to our system. Unfortunately, all processed foods will have one or more toxic seed oils used as an ingredient because they are cheap and store shelf stable, good at preserving foods making them able to store longer, but not healthy to consume! I would be thrilled if I could find one that uses healthy oils, like: coconut, olive, palm, or avocado oil.
