I've purchased this product from local grocery stores and enjoy them almost as much as real pasta. But the ones I purchased from Amazon where the worst that I one imagine. First of all the product didn't weigh 7 oz like it suggested in the description. And I know this because I opened the locally purchased product and matched up the content. And on top of that it wasn't even the same color. The one from Amazon was almost see through like plastic. The other thing the product from Amazon had was a slight chemical smell to it. Then I actually tasted it, there was absolutely a chemical taste and the texture was as if I was eating the plastic that the product came in. Nothing like the product that I purchased from my local grocery store. Long story short I will not be purchasing this product through Amazon as it's shown to be an inferior product. I purchased a six pack and I will be throwing the rest of it away. I don't think it's a good idea to buy food products from Amazon. Just my opinion.

You really need to try these! Just don’t forget to rinse well before warming up. The fettuccine is our favorite and has worked well with any sauce or in soup. The texture reminds me of pasta not overcooked, the flavor comes mostly from the sauce. This is a MUST for diabetics!

I would agree with other reviewers that the texture of these noodles are rubbery and chewy. It reminds me of Thai noodles, but a little thicker and chewier. But I guess I’m not sure what they expected it to be like being only 5 calories, 3 carbs and made of 97% water? In my case, I find these noodles to be suitable for my Italian dishes, especially when I'm actively reducing my calorie intake. They offer a low-calorie alternative that requires minimal effort and preparation. For a more conventional taste and texture, I occasionally mix in some regular whole grain pasta. This combination allows me to enjoy a satisfying meal while still keeping my caloric intake in check. The convenience of these ready-to-eat noodles cannot be understated. Simply remove them from the bag, drain, and they are ready to be microwaved or pan-fried for optimal results. It's an effortless way to incorporate a low-calorie noodle substitution into my meals.
