Q: Can a non English speaker do this ? My niece is 10 and doesn't speak or read any English

Yes. The 'story' is also written in French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The box itself, doesn't have words (other than the name of the company). Everything on the box is written in Egyptian hieroglyphs, however, you don't need to know how to read the hieroglyphs in order to solve the puzzle.
