For security reasons, the lock was designed to be back to "lock" position within three seconds automatically after a correct code is entered. This security feature will prevent a "forgot-and-left-unlock" after an entry. However, if you need to open/close frequently without the need for security, you can consider setting up "passage mode" with one-key touch open without entering an access code. Is there a way to turn off the sound/beep?

I followed the instructions below and it worked! Enter your master code, wait for the beep to stop, and press "*" before the light goes off. This disables the sound on my lock.
